Sound/Alarm when its your turn
Hi!
I am not a modder myself, and have no real knowledge of it, but in all humbleness I have a question for you:
Has it been created a mod to add a sound when its your turn (new day)? I only play multiplayer, and it is really annoying to have to look at the screen every 5 sec to see if it is your turn, when the turns can be 20 minutes long.. However, IF there was a sound to alert of a new day, then you could roam around the house while waiting for the sound
Well, just a long shot on my part, I know many has asked for this amongst us multiplayers, but don`t know if this is possible to do.

I bet it is possible, but things like that are usually hardcoded, and impossible to edit from the outside.

It may very well be possible with an lua script, but unfortunately they are not allowed in multiplayer mode.

They are now in ToE. Maybe that question could be answered now.

If you want to play opponent online, you and he must have same mods. It can be quite clumsy to ask each of them to download the mod. Consider this.

I usually alt-tab out and the flashing ToE at the bottom of the screen tells me when it's my turn again.
Still can't leave the computer though.

As far as I know, sounds are silenced when you alt-tab away, so it wouldn't work in this case, would it?
And I'm certainly not saying that it would be a must-have for everyone. Just that it would be a good pick now for someone with the interest.

with H5 I havent had any particular problems in multiplayer with having mods installed, so that is no argument any ways.
If someone can make this it is still a great thing if you ask me
