useful programs
Some useful programs to make units and animations:
defmaker- make def files
defview - open def files
Resedit - open H3 def files
resedit 2 - open def files from heroes I, II, III , IV,
modhomm -open H3 def files
mm7viewer - open mm VI, VII, VIII files
gifat - basic animations maker
bmg - animations maker
Rotatepic - rotate images
copymap - for mapmakers, you can copy selected map part
RAdtools - you can play and convert films and animations from Homm - MM with .smk and .bik format
obstacle brash - program for make obstacle on Wog maps
mediafire - web to upload and download things free
other programs
If I find some more files I will ad it there
If anybody have got other programs, they can take it here too

On this time I haven`t got H5, but that is write on web. This is generaly made for open files from h4

I think that Resedit says "Resource editor for Heroes of might and magic I-IV",so i don't think its for H5. But you don't need it for H5 anyway, since you can extract the files anyway.

H5 doesn't use def files because it doesn't store animated sprites (2D graphics), it's all 3D models and stuff 
Well, something like that anyway...
