You'd be suprised. First, they have advanced technology also, and second there are a whole lot of them. (And by a lot, I mean they outnumber the inhabitants of earth by about oh 10 to 1, and earth has a lot more people in the game then it does now). The only good news is only a handful of them have any 'abilities'. Though the few that do are pretty potent. And all their 'abilities' are mental (ie they are mentalist).
Oh and Problem Child can actually stop singing. The song will hold out for quite a bit after he stops, he is ... closer to the source of his power then he thinks. Then again, all of you are..so you will find your abilities..modified  .

Time Eraser - One of Old Man's most powerful and frightening technologies. The weapon has been employed twice before in the eon, each time resulting in the loss of billions of lives. The temporal energy completely erases things from the time line.
Such a weapon isn't perfect. First off it requires massive energy output to fire one blast, enough to leave the rest of Old Man's ship without any power. Secondly, the generators need a decade to recharge.
EDIT: Looks like I won't be updating anymore toay. I've reached my limit.

Hmm, you are going to have to help me by explaining what the eraser exactly should do. Erasing one flag ship from history would be a huge help, but I need to know the full consequences as you have in your mind.

The consequences of such a weapon are up to you Misty. As you can imagine, the consequences could be quite dire, hence the billions of lives lost and the decade long recharge of the weapon. As for my intent, it's to stop the attack. I imagine watching all of my comrades within a certain vacinity simply vanish from existance would be an incredibly demoralizing event.
Plus how freakin' cool would it be to have a weapon like that?

Hmm yeah it depends on when the ships were commissioned, who was on it, and various other things that will take some deep consideration of as to how this would affect them. As for the 'machine' I would prefer nothing that 'serious' again. Sort of ruins the 'life on the line' thing. One thing that may have not been considered is the fact the effect this might have on the meteorite.
See what really hasn't been fully revealed (yet), is that the reason the meteorite traveled here is because of these aliens destroying the world it was from. The same world the 'beast' creatures resided. Now without this flagship, would that have occured is the question I have to ask myself. If not, then a huge time space continum rip would occur, since (besides a few) none of the 'supers' would have exsisted. This could theoretically destroy the universe, including the old man.
Hehe you've given me a whole lot of work, calculations, and decisions. Gee thanks.

Don't panic everybody. There is a way to 'fix' things. You all just have to find it. As for 'fatalities' the old man actually is on the plus side.
Deaths - over 100 billion (earth and quite a few of the humanoid invaders).
Lives saved - Well over a trillion (the civilazations saved by the humanoids not ever showing up)...just none on earth.
Of course that may cause a small delima. To return to the the time line you know, will reverse this number.

Actually, no, nobody died, even you. . The fighter ships also 'absorbed' for some reason, leaving you floating in space suits. Nobody knows why brainchild was an exception.

Both are fine. (powers and the wolf). Problem Childs song can be thanked for that. It actually protected the group from the changes the time ripple had. Just the people, however, not any machines or such.

There are a few things that will have to be considered.
Could there be an alternative to returning things back to the way it was?
If not, is 100 billion (or so) lives worth what could potentially be 10's if not 100's of trillions of lives?
What other effects might come from once again tampering with space/time.
The fact that your group is now THE dominant force on the planet.
