Bounty Hunters - OOC
I'm going to assume everyone has read the first post of the main thread.
That is my introduction if you will. I've yet to decide if I'm going to loosely direct the thread as a GM, or if I am going to use Swifty as my player character. Mostly likely I'm going to be doing something in between where I'm loosely guiding the thread as Swifty.
At this point in the game I'd like you to restrict yourselves to being proficient with one weapon and having one basic ability of your choice. By no means do you have to set yourself into any sort of class role. In this RP you will simply accumulate abilites as you progress through the game.
Basic ability would be something like, a simple magic spell, or pickpocket, parry, or set trap.
You can also choose to be proficient with two weapons instead of just one.

I am thinking of Scimitar as my weapon, and Tracking as my ability. Havn't quite worked out a name yet tho. Thinking of even playing male, though I generally don't. Something like
Name : Qualin (Kah way lin) "Kah" (Nickname) Tylona
Race : Half-Elf
Distinguishing Characteristic : One Ear completely missing (it is a funny story, not a tragic one)
Height : Not sure, tall 
Weight : Not sure, rail thin tho
Hair : Black
Eyes : Green
Has also been called "One-Ear" do to the 'tragic' way he lost his ear, and the fact that he is sort of an outcast. (By tragic I mean really embarrassing to him).

Sounds good to me. I don't know why you were worried if it would be acceptible or not.
In the past some people have decided that his or her character is God. And I just wanted to avoid that.

Well I didn't know exactly if tracking was a acceptable skill. As for 'god modeing' lol I get my characters killed, a lot. Seem to have this problem with not charging in..and thus dying. This ones going to be a bit different, more like me irl (well besides the fact that he is male). Anyhow, expect a little post soon
Oh and there was the half-elf thing too. Wasn't sure if that was a go or no go  .

K, heeere we go!
Name: Shay Clee
Age: 17
Appearance: Blond, spiky hair; wirey build; fresh-faced and dashingly good-looking; wears a pendant with an inscription he cannot read that he inherited at birth.
Weapon: Huge sword that once belonged to his father that he wields with ease, despite the fact that lifting a sword of that size would be humanly impossible. Hints at a great destiny, people have told him.
Ability: Level Up: By killing small and innocent animals and other smaller beings of lesser threat, Shay can become stronger.
Backstory: Orphaned at a young age by the Black Knight, he was left to fend for himself in the small, out-of-the-way village where he was born. Has a best friend named Pete, who is, of course, also an orphan. Both have aspired to escape the boring village where they grew up and go to the big city, and they finally get a chance. After a series of money-earning minigames and a cutscene or two, Shay and Pete finally get the chance to go to the big city, or at least the neighboring one.
On the way, Pete is kidnapped and Shay is knocked unconscious while trying to save him. He wakes up in the middle of the road with no idea what has just happened. Now Shay has to find some help, maybe raise up a party of ragtag heroes, so that he can save his friend and fulfill his inevitable destiny.
Oh, also, Shay has amnesia. The last thing he remembers is his friend getting captured, so, the sooner he rescues Pete, the sooner he can work on regaining his identity.
PS: The region's princess has also been captured, and there's a good chance she'll end up in the town where all these marks are being posted. Go figure, eh?

This will be fun 
Name: Benedikt (Real name: George Gentry)
Race: Human
A little about him: George Gentry changed his name to Benedikt, when he was 18 years old, as of his born he is religious fanatic. After 20 years of scaning the Christianity, he become a priest, but not ordinary, he become fanatical zealot, servant of God.
Benedikt is interested only by problems with the Church and God, he is capable of everything for his God and his faith, even to kill his best friend, however he'll never hurt someone who does not offend God or the Church, he killed a lot of infidels in the past years.
Currently GG work for himself he left his home many years ago, he left the town and even the cilivization, and to now he live as recluse and search for infidels, offender, everyone who doesn't obey to gods orders, will be black-listed.
Benedikt never want money or gold for his "orders to kill someone", since he will realize the "orders" only if he must kill sinner, or infidel, and if the order is like this one... its no more an order its a MUST for Benedikt to kill him and clean the world of sinners for God.
Yep Benedikt is mentally irresponsible, yes he is crazy, but he is not psycho... maybe
No one know the real age of him, cuz he is recluse from many years.
Special powers: No one knows them, but someone believe, that Benedikt is blessed by God for his "work" for him, the sceptics think that he is just old crazy guy, however only Benedikt know about his powers and probably God. (This powers will come with RP progress, if they really exist)
Weapon: Benedikt use old silver cross, sanctify of centuries. The cross have 5 gems on it and long chain, which he use to choke his victims to death.
Basic power: Benedikt can get through behind his target's neck and use his cross to kill it, without to be spoted. (He will start with this ability)

Vokial - So you want your character to be able to stealth?

Wog - I'd prefer if at least at the beginning of the game, you aren't able to block arrows with a sword. Not that it would matter for the first couple of marks, because you won't see many arrows. However at least I'd think that blocking arrows with a sword would be something that you don't get as an ability until well a really long time. I doubt the thread will last long enough lol.
Side Note:
Not everyone will be able to get each mark. So you might end up working in competition to one another to get the bounty. Or you might end up working together. Either way this is a great way to get in some character interaction.
If you don't like the bounty or bounties I've posted, then just ask me to post another one. Or maybe you have an idea for another one. Just send me an HCM or post it in the OOC thread and I'll have Swifty put up another thing on the board.

Umm... it's not like every arrow shot  if I know the person is about to shoot, and is face against I may be able to stop the arrow... not many arrows. Maybe one or two or something like that.

Alright fine, I'll give you a 40% chance to parry an arrow. But you'd probably be better off to just dodge the damn thing.
Edit: I'm gonna post one more bounty and then you guys need to start posting. One of you should take some initiative and get going on the bounty Mytical's character is going after. Maybe you can do some teamwork for the first bounty. Or maybe you can have a dispute over who gets it. It's up to you, but I think it might be a good start to get into this RP.
If everyone sticks to themselves, this isn't going to work all that great. I do have some plans once a few of you complete a bounty or two. So there are a couple of surprises that you have waiting, once the thread progresses a little bit.
After my initial plans I'm looking ahead to extremely complex bounties where you are hunting down elusive criminals as opposed to annoying beasts.

Not exactly stealth if you mean stealth like with WoW rogues, I mean he is just good in sneaking by his target when its dark or when no one expect him.
About the bounties: Is there a place in this RP for story "out" of the bounties?

Vokial - Then we'll just call it crappy stealth for now then. About the bounties. I think any outside story, at least for now you should try to keep things somewhat related. If you want to talk about your ideas on HCM or instant messenger, I could definitely help you develop them and impliment them into the thread.
Wog and Mytical - I like the development of the bullies so far. But I'd expect that they would continue to pursue your albino character, WoG.

The sticky situation has been handled. Of course there is the small issue of my character being a pincushion, but...
Figured the only way my character would succeed was pure blind luck. Mostly bad luck, but can't have it all.

Well I think you could have attempted some different strategies. Just because I asked that you are only 'proficient' with one weapon, doesn't mean you can't attempt it with a bow or something. Just realize that you will have trouble with it.

Eh I thought it would be interesting to try the more direct approach this time. May have gotten him beat up, but you'll see that a lot with him. His character flaw is bad luck. For some reason it balances out in the end however. Just always results on him being hurt *grins*.
