Nah, stick around.
What I mean is if you go into a battle blind without knowing what skills your opponent has, why would you put your blood furies out in front of the enemy melee hitters to get killed? The only reason I use ctrl-click is to use the furies to block a shooter (or in certain special circumstances).

Slim, i never said i can beat you.. all i said is that if you promise to pm furies i'll bring all my troops and no hit-and-run. you'll give me one extra chance to defeat you. That implies that pm-ing the furies is just wrong. Anyway... as you like necro the most, some of us like dungeon. Its ok to state your opinion, just try to consider that someone else has another opinion than yours and it might be better.
Now... ctrl-clicking the furies wont solve the problem. he just cant win if his strongest stack are the furies.

Lol relax it's just a topic for discussion.
However final battle or no you do not only want to have the best of your points but also remove possible advantages from an opponent, besides you may want to retreat later. I sincerely cannot see why someone would not take with him hydras(too slow with puppet, easy to immobilize) or furies(not THAT terrifying) but raiders can indeed cause trouble with puppet. My tactics was always to blast the opponent asap so that he cannot keep up with cursing or raising. And my last battle where I sieged a necro town with castle my own raiders proved to be a liability as I had to block them in the corner to prevent them kicking my @ss. I still kept them full well knowing he may have puppet but placed them in a spot they could easily be detained should I need to and later saw that maybe it would be easier not having them.
I'm still a bit unsure but heck, luck always plays a role. You may use a precaution or not according to how you judge the situation.

Atacking a castle is a different matter, furies and raiders are no good there.

Well... For the record... I know that the furies are not that good later on and that the riders are very good.
I also know that if you dont bring the hydras and riders your not playing right.
However... I also know that he was "Owning the map" wich means that he had no problems with the other fellas...
I also know that the problems ocour when the fury stack is being frenzied.
What would be your first move (like me, I'm unexperienced with dungeon) be to try to build up a solution to the problem? Well, make sure the furies are not frenzied.
Now what do you gain? You learn your enemies "backup" move. Perhaps you would still get pwnd, but since I asume he play against AI he is able to save before the battle and play it lots of times! So he can do the victory step by step.
If you experienced players say that he cant win then fine.. But he could try his hardest to find out how to loose best.. if you know what I mean. I feel its better to loose when you have done everything you can, then loose the same way over and over and over..
And samielk, I know you didn't say you can beat me, heck, its ME who sais you can beat me... Cause I know you can..

LOL I just broke faster. It was not the first time I had that match dungeon vs necro though the first time was on open field.
