The Xbox's Graphics Pwn the Wii's because it has better hardware in the thing.
If the Wii had better graphics, I am sure they would make other types of cool games, like more action games, rpg's, racing etc etc.

If the Wii had the Xbox's graphics, it would be a lot more expensive and less reliable. Everything else it can do, my PC can do just aswell.
I'll take fun and reliable gameplay over graphics any day, thank you very much. However, I have to admit the Wii is still lagging severely behind when it comes to online gameplay, something the Xbox360 has really nailed down with Xbox Live.
But there are games coming up, and I don't have to pay extra to play online. Now if they'd only give up that Friendcode nonsense...

There was always going to be at least 10 people come in who mention that their PC is better.
It's not a console.
As for the Wii's graphics they are not up to the standard of the 2nd gen but as has been said that's not why you buy it. You buy it because IF YOU MOVE YOUR HAND SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN IN THE GAME!!!!!!!!! lol. It's a fair gimmick that wears off within minutes.
Good for small kids though.
Just keep that deadly wiimote away from them

Xbox360 and PS3 try to be PC's essentially by adding multimedia to the core concept of playing games. Even the Wii provides an Internet Channel and other stuff that don't directly relate to games.
So it's only valid to compare them to the PC many people already have at home, and guess what? The Wii is the only console with a new concept that warrants having it aside the PC. The other consoles try to convince with exclusive titles even though there is no technical reason for them not to come out on the PC *coughHalocough* or other consoles, even though they usually do come out eventually. Not enough for me. I skipped the entire last generation for the same reason, even though the Gamecube was really cheap in the end and had a few titles that really interested me (Smash Bros, mostly).

PC is not a console, so this is OT ....
Yeah Halo comes out on PC just in time for it to get old And it's the social aspect that comes with consoles. Playing over Vent just doesn't compare

Wii's are fun, simple as that
PS3 are far more sophisticated than the other two, including alot more special features.
XBox 360 is great if you want to get a bunch of mates around and go online.

I think, for me anyway, that Consoles are actually easier and better to play games on.
Because that is what Consoles are, for playing games.
The new consoles do not suck.

At the moment, the PS2 clearly beats the **** out of the PS3, agreed. An impressive library of games, and the console itself isn't expensive.
