Hi all.

I'm no expert player.  Thru perusing forums and playing single-player, I try to balance out some of the alternates so that it's not such a no-brainer for me every time I upgrade.  Please comment on my private balance changes and tell me if I'm making my own game imba.

Necropolis

Banshee =
Added Cursing Attack (what the undead dragon has).
New - Removed Cursing Attack.  Increased Death Wail damage by factor of 2.

Lich Master =
Dmg upped from 17-21 to 18-21.
Mana upped from 19 to 24.

Vamp Prince =
Dmg changed from 5-13 to 4-14.
Hp upped from 40 to 45.
New - Hp upped from 40 to 43.
Init upped from 11 to 13.

Stronghold

Centaur Nomad =
Init upped from 10 to 11 (same as normal Centaur's).

Both Daughters =
Added Cleansing spell (10 mana cost, advanced level, same as Zealot).  No change to their base mana (Sky has 12, Earth has 9).

Foul Wyvern =
Added Crippling Wound (what the dwarven spearmen have).

Chieftain =
Hps upped from 48 to 50.
Added Immune To Weakness.

I like the idea of giving the shamans cleansing but I think it would be nice to have them on expert level (atleast for the sky daugther).

Also cleasining spell (on expert level) could be activated by sacrifiecing goblin. What do you think?

about the vampire prince. +2 initiative is very significant.
He would have a much higher chance to act before most slow creatures now,
5 HP is pretty huge too. its now 10 HP more then the alternate.
Basically you might as well add some +3 attack and defense and add in an exta 3 HP and remove torpor altogether.

Orc daughters:
Cleansing is not supposed to be orcs' solution, merely another band-aid to their weakness to dark magic.  I don't want to let them suddenly be unafraid of dark magicians.  By the time the dark magician enemy is strong enough to ignore the daughters' cleansing, the warchief should be strong enough to have expert shatter.

With their low base mana, it's pretty much guaranteed that they'll need to sacrifice gobbos to use cleansing, no matter what.  This gives Sky more value, and also changes how both daughters play when you meet a dark magician hero.

Vamp prince:
Yeah I gave him big buffs.  But torpor sucks and loss of no-retaliation *really* hurts.  I noticed that Necro has no creature with init over 11, so I figured the vamp prince can have a specialized role which is worth of loss of no-retal, in order to make him worth choosing.  +5 hps and +2 init is to offset no-retal.  The 4-14 dmg is to make torpor better when/if it happens, but makes him more vulnerable to weakness.

I guess I'll change him to +3 hps.
