Quote:
I'd like a story set in the world of Heroes V.

It opens with introducing the Elves' and Humans' alliance teetering on a swordblade, close to war over border disputes and religeon.  They are united by their attacks on the Necromancers.  However, at one point an Elf, a Human, and a Necromancer all overhear a conspiracy to use the blood of the fallen humans and elves to summon demons, including Kha-Beleth.  They both rush in (from oposite doors: The Elf and Human in one, the Necromancer in the other) and there is an epic fight to destroy the conspirators.  The Henchman is slain but the main guy escapes.  The three remaining realize they must work together to stop the war before demons are unleashed. However, they are stuck where they are, and must travel through the Tunnels of the Dark Elves to get to the surface.  They must learn to trust eachother and to get over eachother's views on religon, magic, and life in general.  Suprisingly the Elf (Findan) and the Necromancer (Arantir) bond over imortality (which they both have) and the Human (Freyda) feels left out.

On the surface, Godric get the wrong end of the stick and thinks Freyda has been kidnapped by the Elves.  This leads to a series of battles between Elves, Humans, and Necromancers.  A few Dwarves and Orcs also get involved, and a group of Wizards shows up.  They are the ones plotting to unleash the demons.  With their city drawing nearer and the blood continuing to drench the land, time is running out.

In the Caverns below, Findan, Freyda and Arantir get involved in a battle between two clans of Dark Elves (Soulscar and Shadowbrand)  Findan gives up his immortality to save Freyda's life after she is stabbed. She is healed and becomes immortal.  Soulscar wins anyway.

They finnally get to the surface as the ritual is begining.  The surfaces where blood is are cracking.  The Soulscar Dark Elves come flooding onto the surface and join in the carnage.  Using Findan's knoweldge and Freyda and Arantir's immortal souls, they siphon the blood off the battlefield and onto the Academy. It cracks and breaks apart.  Freyda dies, but Arantir brings her back.  When asked later, Freyda says that "There's no point living forever if dying does more good for the world.  How we die matters so much more than how we live."

Actors:
Freyda - Sarah Michelle Gellar
Arantir - Hugh Jackman
Findan - Orlando Bloom
Godric - Tony Amendola
Wulfstan - Armand Assante
Ylaya - Isabella Rossellini

I'd prefer a HOMM movie done non-animated.

First of all I wouldn't like HoMM to be turned into a movie... Turning a unique and wonderful piece of art (like Beowulf) into a brainless monstermash "Blockbuster" (where you need Angelina Jolie naked just to lure people into watching this movie) is a crime!! It really takes much of the wonders and amazing things of this poem... Most people will now probably say :"oh yeah sure I know Beowulf! Angelina look so snowing hot yeah!!!" that's NOT what Beowulf is about (nothing against Angelina she is pretty hot [well ok used to be]). So No I wouldn't like a movie as someone said before (Daystar?) Heroes is really something for a book not for a movie. Besides craming all the factions in one movie would be pretty much chaotic.

Ehm first I thought you were joking but than I remembered that you kind of really like Buffy so I guess you weren't kidding afterall... Seriously I do not know what you see in her... She can not act! Ok you don't need to in Hollywood but dam if were talking about a heroes movie more skill please.

Findan - Orlando Bloom
!! YEAH that's the kind of gay poet elf freak we need!! Orlando for gay-star-gazeing-poet!

Ylaya - Isabella Rossellini
oO!! WHAT?! I didn't know who she was so I googled her picture... WOW she is NOT hot!! Dude Ylaya is sexy when she's on the screen your suppose to be like "Raaaaaaawr!". you're not suppose to spill your drink all over the theater out of shock waeh... she's not even close to Ylaya... But then ofcourse I don#t know how good that Isabella is acting as Ylaya is not all about the looks... well... nah she's not all about the looks

While his sexual orientation may not be gay he most definetly is just as gay as findan and well kind of in the same way.

All the casting was meant in humor, with the exception of Isabella Rossellini, who I remember seeing in The Odessey when she was young enough to play the role well.

Terrible idea. Not because of Homm. Can somebody explain to me why is it good to make films based on PC games (besides profit) ? Saw Hitman last week (my friend paid for the ticket ofc), it was rather pathetic.

Hitman was decent. Could of been great if they explained why the hell he cared about the girl though...
but i really do not think this would even be a decent movie, even if it was as highly budgeted as Pirates of the Carribean.

It is always hard to make a good flik from a game.
There would probally have to be some trilogies from each one.
Animated would probally be better.

I dont think it would make much money if it was made though.

How about a TV series?  High budget, but if they weren't over ambitious with sets they could do a lot of good for a few seasons.

I think a series of movies would be great.  Like Golden Compass live action with CGI.  It might be way too expensive however.  A television show would be fine..as long as it was hour long shows not 30min.  No sindication either (dang endless reruns).  Maybe one day well see something like it.
