Played a game yesterday ... Opponent ask my for reload turn two times, then he asked my one more time i said no more reloads this game, after  a couple of turns he made a dc and said he really need a reload ... In  final battle i coming to win, but he said he forget to replace balista  destroyed by my in other battle and ask for reload, i said no more,  in  1 min dc ... He want now to continue our battle but with balista this time ... Wat is fair solution from this kind of situation ? Should i play dc players ? I hate this - try to breach the center and dc if not success ...

Alright, for the record Infinitus...you're right about me asking for two reloads...but you only gave me one, unless you count the times I asked to restart my PC after I saved and ended turn because my game was really laggy. Obviously, that's a benefit for both of us..unless you wanted me to take an extra 10 min every turn/battle because of lag.

Now, about the final battle. I know it seems fishy, but I guarantee you that I did not disconnect intentionally because I forgot my ballista. After some discussion, I continued the battle for several turns. Then I attacked one of your guys with my Cyclops, then it froze up..then suddenly it popped into action but it said you got a disconnect.  So regardless, somehow we were disconnected..but I didn't do anything to cause it.

So let me ask, you what are you so afraid of anyways? I have a far inferior army to you. You've got 20 crystal dragons vs my 10 cyclops..and almost every other stack you have is a couple of weeks production more than mine...because you sold my creatures to the slave market when you took over my town. Me having a ballista just means you'll have a slightly tougher battle, but I'm sure you'll still win in the long run, and when you do I'll report my loss.

Next time I'll take a Screenshot everytime there's a disconnect so I won't be accused of cheating. I swear I don't disconnect or quit just because I'm losing.

i really dont see any reason to bother anymore concerning a single game. i cannot recall exactly  the number but i believe have tens of games won ,since i joined toh, unreported due to the cheaters, whiners and other imature ppl. just get over it, put the name on the blacklist and play with ppl u know are serious, fast , and who provide you a nice time having a chat with. ofc, challenge is a factor u shouldnt ignore when choosing an opponent.
points come on the last place.

have a nice day

I think that is harsh.

In the intro write up when you sign up for TOH it speaks of reproducing exactly your moves before the disconnect.

While I personally would be lenient to Jukeboxhero I can understand Infinitus frustration.

Not that hes worlds best player, he's not, but he belongs to toh community and is dedicated player. He dont do drops in game, usually finish games in one session and is open to many map suggestions

.. eventually, i dont see the issue here. if one won just report damn thing and case closed

Dude didnt Rob already say he would fix the problem.
Dont let it stress you out so much & report the game again so he can fix it.Put him on your black list & move on.
How many times I got screwed in toh games in the past, I just simply move on missing out on many wins.
It happens, there are alot of buttheads in toh. Also alot of good players.
Let it go & let Rob fix you up.

So am I being viewed as the bad guy now?

I certainly hope not, I don't want to be viewed as a cheater, quitter or a bad player who should be black-listed, because even though I have nothing more than my word to back me up, I'm honestly not that type of person!

This all escalated because of a simple disconnect half-way through the final battle. There was some debate on whether I should have my ballista on the reload, but after much deliberation he said "fine, have your ballista". Ironically, it didn't matter that much anyways. He killed it with his druids after it got it's first shot, and the battle continued until there was another disconnect/crash. This time he said he got disconnected, but he wasn't in the mood to keep playing and he had to leave immediately.

So he leaves, but unfortunately we both forgot to hard-save. We can still continue from the most recent save, which was about a week before this current situation. Of course the game will probably take a different course, but I would still like to finish this so a winner can be determined and the last 6-8 hrs won't be a waste. If he chooses not to though, I can definetly understand his frustration

Anyways, it looks like this may be a draw afterall....and I would just like to apologize that things got so messed up. I do enjoy playing Infinitus and I would like to play him again someday...I hope we can forgot about this simple mistake that screwed up our game.

So for future reference, I have some questions.
1. If a crash happens; Are we still expected to play the battle exactly as it had been played before?
In this situation, I was completely unaware of the fact that my ballista was missing. I guess since I had surrendered or fled, it disappeared, but due to my noobish ignorance..I had no clue until the final battle. So in this situation..nothing can change at all and it must be as close to the original scenario as possible?

2. Should I report loss, even if the battle was never completely finshed (maybe 1/2-2/3rds through), but the odds seem against me?
I personally like to finish the battle, or at least get to the point where I have pretty much 0% chance for me to win.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

P.s. I realize now I should've taken screenshots to prove it was an accidental disconnect, but I didn't expect to be called a cheater immediately thereafter (apparently it was one of those disconnects where both players are told that the other has been disc)

For one Infinitious or however you say his name cries way too much on little things.

You Jukeboxhero ask way too much from an oponent.
2 reloads is way too much.
Bad connection happens.
I am actually siding with you Jukebox because I been around awhile to know it happens.
That is if you are speaking the truth.
Reload & replay the final battle.
If it disconnects again, then replay it when your connection is better or compromise.

If it's deep in the final battle, I think it's not that hard to tell who had the upper hand. Work it out.
If you disconnected during the early parts of the battle then that can be an idea.
There is no TOH rules about this predictament.
Yall need to work it out yourselves.
Unfortunately the guy who disconnects gets the bad side of the apple.

I think Infinitious is just point hungry & wants his way anyway he can like Wiggy Wam.
It happened it's done, let it go.
You got a life, take the loss & just dont play him anymore.
It's the internet & it happens.

Look at me.
I seen this happen to me only too often.
I rarely cried about it. I am also a hater to these kind of players including cheaters, quitters & abusers.
I speak it out & make sure people know about them.

Insatiable I played one of my first games with him many many yrs ago.
I dont care what he says about Infitiouslalalawhatever.
I think he took advantage of you & uses his reputation to get it.
Many through the yrs used thier reputation to get over on newer players.
I mostly spoke out about them.

I dont think this will work out in your favor.Take the loss like a man this time but make sure you compromise the rules a little better with your oponent perhaps.

Man, when disconnects happened, the game should be resumed and played untill crash exactly the same...see the rules in toheroes.com.
My oppinion, for eliminating all suspicions on you, is that if you think you'd loose that final battle (without balista), you have to report a loss.
Personally I belive you played fair, but because you dont know the rules, you asked for too many reloads,(I personally dont give opponent that chance, exception when I play beginers in toh like you-which I did-and you can confirm that).
Just give him the game, then you can finish it, for fun, not for points. Then post here what happens, so people will know you dont play for points, or not?

As toh rules mention : the battle should be replayed with exact same moves till the d/c moment, which proved to be possible in h5, if u respect the army positioning. Ofc if both parts agree before replayin, u can can fight like the previous one never exist.

2. Should I report loss, even if the battle was never completely finshed (maybe 1/2-2/3rds through), but the odds seem against me?
I personally like to finish the battle, or at least get to the point where I have pretty much 0% chance for me to win.

Reporting loss should occur when all hopes, theoretically, are lost. Fight until u've been completelly vanquished  or if u managed to retreat but, based on a decency of a player who knows the game, u realised there is not much to do in game just to prolongue the end till the same outcome.

But, judging an outcome when there is still army on the battlefield, i think its not very accurate. i posted a replay where i had only some gremlins remaning, at some point, vs. 10 emeralds , lost of trees, dancers, unicorns, and still the snow happend and i won after 1h of fight (basically i shouldve report loss right the way). so never know what could happen, but judgement should be based on some theoretical stuff/chances tho.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

P.s. I realize now I should've taken screenshots to prove it was an accidental disconnect, but I didn't expect to be called a cheater immediately thereafter (apparently it was one of those disconnects where both players are told that the other has been disc)

screenshots could be useful, at least to remember the intense heroes moments

1st battle - beat you with a lvl 1 hero.
2nd battle - i quit because the map was too dry and i didnt have
pleasure to play that map (i reported loss)
3rd battle - you say that you found a good nival-map (you didnt want to play anything else but nival-maps), i said ok, lets play, Sim-Turns end in 1st week. I say, look, im in this part of the map, tell me where you are and i'll come to finish this stupid game or, if you dont want to tell me where you are, you come and lets finish it. But nothing happens for 2 weeks, of course i dont want to finish that game... I DONT HAVE PLEASURE TO PLAY THAT MAP.

Wow, i like to sleep in the final battle... i think he's the only one that has something against me, well, except you. And i've played a lot of games with a lot of people, and if i was unhonourable do you think they would've played me again and again???

1st battle . One of my first played RMG, small map, battle on day 2 or 3 , don't remember for sure ... I lost coz don't know at the moment how to  deal with invisible units ...
2nd battle - You can win only on reach maps ?
3rd battle - I agree not very nice end of sim-turns, but i don't think i must supply you with any info in game, battle against magic faction early game is not good for Sylvan ... You still played this game until the situation gone really bad for you ... So if you not get the pleasure you not continue game ? Next time i will try to entertain you as much as possible Neinspiratul is one of most honorable man i ever seen, he don't take the win points if he feel game is not fair ....  Somme people said - we are few, so we must take all we can
