Zombie
I have tried to give the 3rd Zombie upgrade (Rot Zombie) eyes that are pink. I went in and adjusted the *.dll file, and then I did the icon. Made a mod and put it in, but I get this green still showing up around his eyes. Is there some kind of glow effect added to it? Does anyone know? Someone modded the Spectres to give them red-eyes (very cool looking) and be green. I changed the Archlich to a green color, and want these eyes pink.
Any Ideas?
Ps- Does it meant the only way to show a picture is that it must be on-line?

Okay, it's official; I have spent about 10 hours in the last two days trying to figure out what is up with the dumb pink-green eye thing. I got 75 views and not even a suggestion, so I am giving this one up!

Ok, I made a mod which removes this glow for you.
http://www.speedyshare.com/966948714.html
Few words how it works:
Each creature has several files with thier animations - the most common are anims when creature attacks (attack, attack00, attack01), gets hit (hit), becomes dead (death) or moves (move). And +1 animation when does nothing (idle00).
You can find Disease Zombies' files in Characters/Creatures/Neropolis/AlternativeUpgrade.
Each such file has specified <Effect> tag inside, which leads to file with that all sparks, glow, lightnings around creature etc.
I changed destination folder of this effect for WalkingDeadWithoutGlow
instead of _(Effect)/Effects/Characters/Creatures/Necropolis/WalkingDead/
and copied files from original folder inside. Why? Because the same effect is used for unupgraded Zombie, and you don't wanna touch him.
Then I removed from effect files particle responsible for this eye glow.
I hope it helps.

Thank you for having mercy on my soul! YES!!! This is exactly what I needed. I was so close to the solution, too; if I am right I found the correct file to adjust, but there was no "Alternate upgrade: DeseaseZombie" version of it, only the "WalkingDead" version.
Is this the file responsible for the glow:
href="/Effects/_(ParticleInstance)/Characters/NECROPOLIS/WalkingDead/Bone/Head_bone.xdb#xpointer(/ParticleInstance)"/> ?
If it is, then I did find what I needed but the thought of making another file to link to the "Alternate upgrade" was where I went wrong. I was afraid if I modded that 'Head_bone.xdb' file that it would affect all 3 zombies. I did find the file (I think), but did not know where to go from there (wasn't even sure there was a "glow file" to begin with, but it sure seemed to make sense).
YOU ARE AWESOME!!!
Thanks so much for the help. This has taken up way too much of my time lately, I just couldn't seem to stop searching for it. I had given up on it, but now your post allows me to finish the project. It looks really cool with the pink eyes. Hey, I just thought of this; I wonder if I could link his glow to the skeleton's eyes of pink? Might work, I think I'll try (hope you don't hear an explosion or anything).
Ps- I spent hours (literally) trying to find what file this is or where it is located, would you know? I just could never locate this thing thinking it might have a link to this mystery and it drove me nuts!
"/H5A2/Creatures/AlternativeUpgrades/Necropolis/T2_DiseaseZombie/DeseaseZombie.mb"
I wonder why they made it so whack-o inside the files. Some alternates are listed in one way, some files are listed here, others that are parallel are listes there, you follow one path for one file 'effect/animation/whatever' and that same path is totally different for a different creature. Thought I was going to lose my mind in there, but am kind of glad I think I really found the "head_bone" file but just didn't know where to go from there. All of your help is well appreciated!

YOU are a genius!!! Using what your post and file taught me, I was able to add the PINK-glow effect of the Skeleton Warrior to the Rot Zombie with pink-eyes. Your help has been tremendous, thanks again!

I would love to and try, but I am not sure how. I try to post a picture and it asks me for a url. I don't get it, though I'd love to show the zombie mod it looks cool. Anyone give me a hint and I'll be glad to post a few things I did.
I kept the pink eyes but did take the effect off, because it also came with the skeleton's smoke. It came out of his mouth which is chest high on the zombie, so the zombie had smoke coming from the chest. Looked good, but I took it off and settled for un-glowing pink eyes.
