Then you'd have to deal with the Night Lord. I had an idea of how to bring them back, but I scrapped it entirely when Stefan stepped out.

Hmm... the idea was good. Bringing Omega back will make me smile and Topaz too. And it is really saddening Stefan had left us so fast here and he even left CH. That's really odd.
But dealing with the Night Lord without a cleric or paladin would be though plus, add these annoying demons. We really need clerics now! Or we can just deal them with what we have. I'll do what I can, anyways. It's fun.

Looks like I need to update. I plan on doing it tomorrow at the library after I submit the rest of my bar application. Until then, take care.

So I guess I can cast off some spell to that demon now that I can see it? And is it still invisible or? Just confirming.
EDIT: *nearly pukes after reading what happened in Azagal's place* (well... if I understand that part of the update correctly... thankfully I'm not there or else... but still... )
But at least the demon didn't feasted on Onyx. Maybe old men doesn't taste really good for them.

Yeah. You can see it, Ceres. You're the only on who can see it, within this room. So, you're the only one who can cast spells directly at it. I, and the students(if they should decide to try and attack it), would have to guess at where the demon is to attack it. Or throw a whole bunch of AoE spells out to hit it that way. Though, that may not be the greatest of ideas. The loss of too much of the wall, and the whole place may come crashing down upon us.
So, you casting your spells at the demon would be best, in my opinion.

Yeah, I had that in mind. I was wondering if I could cast Isaac's Missile Storm on it.
EDIT: Changed my mind. IMS, I am afraid it might hit the students near the demon so instead I casted BCF, which is a level 8 spell. Oh well, I feel I had wasted a very nice spell. But that is the only spell I see I could cast safely.

Actually that might be a good spell. Not only can it damage the creature, it can be used to deflect falling objects if the room collapses.

All the Bigby spells create giant 'hands' made purely of force. They can be used for a variety of things other then just attacking. All of them can also be used as the 'interposing' version, keeping a creature from advancing further unless stronger then the hand (the higher versions act as stronger hands. Interposing is like 17 or 18, grabbing like 18(18/00) or 19, etc.
Even have used the hands for digging

What you and he need is a Book of Infinate Pages. Of course they are almost (but not quite) as rare as Book of Infinate Spells (which is very very rare). It doesn't give you extra spells like the Spells book, but its pages can be turned freely (the spells book you can't turn the pages back, only forward, and a random spell is on each page).
Can hold infinate spells, and there is always a chance it will have a few spells in it. Only weighs as much as a book with 100 pages too. One of THE most sought after magical items for a mage.

Eh, only going to find it in a very few places (if at all). Dragons Lair, Liches Lair, some ancient forgotten ruins (there is a possibility of one being in that invisible city in the scar), or some other highly dangerous place. Things like these are not a dime a dozen, but very rare and jealously guarded.
Edit : Though...Frostmourn IS old, and had an ancient race as it's builder. It is possible one is around this city, but it would be very very difficult to find.
