You asked me to join and i will do that.
Right now i cant come up with any popular swedish song.
(i think its boring to link Carola songs like "Invincible" or "Captured by a Lovestorm" or Abba with Warterloo because this is not Eurovision Songcontest)
So i will take a popular swedish song they spammed on the radio all the time, and still does with his other songs...
Its on swedish so it might be hard to understand.
Anyway its Martin Stenmark, one of the most popular male artists of Sweden, with "7milakliv".
I wanted to choose a song named "Hand i Hand" just because it owuld cheer up danish people (there is some danish in it) but i couldnt find that version on youtube.
Anyway here it is.
And almost no one in Swden understands the text.

Jovano Jovanke is a wonderful song, not only Bulgarian but also Macedonian and sometimes Serbian I like it a lot, especially Vlatko Stefanovski's version (Macedonian guitarist, one of the best in Europe IMO)... Maybe the version you posted is too militaristic for my taste, but never mind.
Right, the entry for Serbia:
Ekatarina Velika - Par godina za nas
English translation (courtesy of me ):
Catherine the Great - A few years for us
My friend and I are sitting on a bench
Staring at the stars
Listening to the news that's just arrived
They say we've got just a few years for us
We had toys and lived it all
All those games of fortune
Those games for people
That someone devised
Before just a few years for us
Do you know
How much I want to find you
Do I know
What I need to know
Love me
Like you've never loved before
We live in talking
Defend, walk, celebrate
Some meaningless things
Some meaningless stories
That someone devised
In just a few years for us
Words are not enough, those ordinary words
To return me to life
A touch is not enough
Nor to know that I have you
Just a few more years for us
Do you know
How much I want to find you
Do I know
What I need to know
Love me
Like you've never loved before
Love me like you've never loved before
Love me like you've never loved before
Grows like hope, like sea, like speech
Like movement, like dawn, like a child, like blood
Like a wish between us
Grows like pain
And bites everything in front of our eyes
Love me like you've never loved before
Love me like you've never loved before
Love me like you've never loved before
Love me like you've never loved before
Love me

Something from Nightwish, it is unique. Older preferably...
Why not Nemo if this is about popularity, it has great lyrics and at least average vocals. Catchy.
Gethsemane might still be my alltime favourite.

Great song! I did not know of this singer. Myself, I would have nominated some of the amazing songs by Abba, Roxette or Cardigans, should I find something Swedish, but this is truely a good pick also.

This has been discussed already, but now I ask: Is Teräsbetoni good for for finnish entry? I would say that the song would be Silmä silmästä, Vaadimme Metallia, Pyhä Maa or the old classic Taivas lyö tulta.

for Finland it is too hard to make 1 entry, becoz many people make many different music tastes. i doubt it if you can find a song with which you can all live in peace

Which is the truth for any country, so let's get on with it if those fins don't soon come up with something.

I guess this is my entry for my country. This is quite old probably released some years ago. I'm not really fond of our own music here but I do like some. I just don't want to be conventional that's why. I hope it's good, anyway.

Name of Artist: Kitchie Nadal
Date of Song Release: 2004

We are the Winners by LT United. Nothing extremely fancy or anything (cause we suck at it) but still one of the best lithuanian achievements in past few years.

Taivas lyö tulta is fine but what if we looked for something that has english lyrics?
Nightwish might be good but it's way too common.
How about hurriganes?
I'll accept teräsbetoni what about you others?
