Continuing Might and Magic Franchise?
I love the Might and Magic series. I was kinda pissed off when I learned Darm Messiah was basically a FPS. I don't even consider Dark Messiah partof the series because it strays from the concept too much. Does anyone else know if after Dark Messiah comes out (for the 360) if they are going to be working on a classic style Might and Magic?
That'd be sweet!

Yeah, I didn't think Ubisoft would pick it up.
But, the tribute thing...those fans are hardcore. Looks awsome to me though!

It's being going for years and hasn't made much progress from the viewpoint of a player...
No offense to anyone who's making it but if you're looking for another Might and Magic RPG I wouldn't wait around for this one.

It will be finished probaby by the time we get WoG 3.59,... so not in this decade, and not soon after that either....

I would love to see another Dark messiah game.
The story could have two parts, depending on which side you choose in the end of the first game. Sareph could turn into some kind of Dragon knight if he chooses the good side (With archangel transformation!) or be a demon knight (Demon transformation) if he chooses the bad side.
Alternative weapons would also be a great idea, like axes. (axes with real fighting stances that is) I hate the fact that in most gamesequels you end up not having all the experience you had in the first game. Why not make something different? Make Sareph Über! Make him fight like twenty orcs at a time without problems!

As long as you fight more powerful enemies why not. I like epic stuff.

I like Arduis's Ideas, but that would give it probelms. Perhaps a plot for the game would be that he's uber for one mission, but in an attempt to stop him a [sorceror/demon conjoror/druid/preist/arcane bunny] saps Sareth's powers into hetself, leading to a very strong opponent. Sareth would still be strong, but not godlike.
The power stolen by the Arcane Bunny or whatever would slowly corrupt them: If they were evil they would turn good, if good they would turn evil.

MM Tribute is still very much alive. Yes it's been delayed a lot, mostly because the original team leader disappeared with a lot of the work, but things seem to be moving a lot quicker now. The game design and storyline look complete and all that's left is putting them into the actual engine.
Had to clear that up

Yeah it'll be a completely free download. They'll also send CDs out to people with poor internet connections at a small cost.

Maybe when it was released the year than go from that year plus 12 years.
C&C1 was realeased on 2007 for free and that was a game from 1995.
It depends on the developers and marketing.
