autoexec_a2.cfg and user_a2.cfg
Does anyone know where can I find a complete list of details about the commands in autoexec_a2.cfg and user_a2.cfg files from Profiles folder for HOMMV TOE. I need to remove some useless lags (like disabling the fade when picking up resources on the adventure map...) and other general speed-ups (scrolling with the cursor keys works fine but it's really slow when using the mouse, no matter the setting in game options...). There are many other changes I would like to make, but I first need to know what those command do... I mean those with not so significant names like : gfx_frame_transition, gfx_frame_transition, gfx_hsr, gfx_lag, gfx_static_nooverwrite, gfx_transp_buffer_auto_grow ... and so on.

I've already used the tweaker and it didn't help... but thanks for your reply. On the other hand, I found a few mods that may help me but they only work for HOMM... they are .pak files. I tried renaming them to .h5u and place them in UserMODs but that didn't work. Also tried renaming to zip, unpacking content and inserting in data.pak ... no results. The mod you uploaded doesn't work because the dates of the files within it are too old - the game uses the newest versions, and these are the ones in the TotE data file. To change the date, resave the files (in notepad you'd need to make a change, then undo it and save), then repack; alternatively use a date changing program (I think the Modder's Tools thread has a link to one...).
