Did you, or did you not need the tarp for that?
EDIT: BTW I figured out a way we can save the Makuhita or possibly a different Pokemon...but I'm going to make you guys figure out what it is, because otherwise it's just the DM solving your problems for you.
I'll give you a hint though: go back and re-read the posts where Poli evolved.

That actually wasn’t what I was talking about, I already told you guys you could have a tarp for your stretcher/travois/whatever.

Mark has CRAFTED THE THING. Like he said he would. Because if you know lashes and knots, and have the materials at hand, it's pretty simple to make a sturdy travois.
And of course he's a former member of the Junior Ranger Core. Because Mark is, and I cannot stress this enough, a total dork. Which puts him squarely into the camp of people who are totally in the pokemon equivalent of the Boyscouts.
... More relevantly, Does this increase how many pokemon we can get out of there?

Between the travois, and using the Taskmaster as a packmule, let's say another 100 lbs. of Pokemon total.

Alright, that gets us the Mime Jr. and the Spoink as well, in that case! With those two added in, we're looking at;
The Lombre, sentret and ralts being carried between two people (Mark and Mina, probably) which should be exactly 100lbs there.
Marick, the wild Bronzor and the Pachirisu in the cart being carried by Pellena.
Mime jr, the Spoink and the Kricketot being carried by the travois+taskmaster
And then the Vespiqueen is carried between Wain and Matt, and one of them also carries either the Zubat or the Caterpie. My vote is for the Caterpie, since IC a big stink has been made about not letting it die, so the PC's and NPC's just abandoning it would seem... just a touch out of character.
Which should only leave the Makhuita behind as far as "Pokemon potentially owned by trainers" goes, and of the wild pokemon, the only ones out are Happiny, Zigzagoon and Zubat. It isn't everything, but it's a lot more than I was expecting.

I would like to point out that a good portion of the stink was because somebody sent a level 10 Bug Pokemon to block a 480-power Rock move from a Pokemon more than three times its level. That would have done over 1,300 points of damage if it had hit, and there is zero question that Caterpie would have died.

There's still a way to save the Makuhita and at least one other Pokemon.

Yeah for our pokemon :/ I meant like the captured ones. I've no idea what the clue could be to this puzzle... =.= After it's revealed in a typical D&D fashion it'll seem so obvious... Yet as it is, I'm clueless (not that it takes much)
