"Grass gym .. well, maybe later on. But as of now my pokemon are probably too weak to take on any gym." Brona said with a shrug. "By the way, my pokedex was stolen by the Bandra people, you wouldn't mind checking what level my pokemon are at, if possible?"
Finally paying attention to the screams coming from the kitchen, he looked through the door and told the pokemon strictly to calm a bit down.

The trainer mouths a wordless 'o-kay' before asking, "These them?" Upon receiving confirmation from you, he scans the three of them.
"...the Mankey's level 19, your Geodude is 19 and the Nidorino is 16." He gets a look of frowning concern. "And if you lost your Pokedex to Bandra, you might want to check in with the authorities if you haven't already; they can steal your Pokemon out of the Box system with that." ((Which isn't a problem for you since you only had six, but other players should take note.))

Stacey notices the disgruntled look, and looks to the ground. "S-Sorry. Yeah. We can have a three on three battle." She looks back up, to her two pokemon out. "Well, Dickson, we should start out with Mona first, and see how things go. Let's return you to your pokeball now." Dickson is recalled, and Mona prepares for battle.

I don't know what condition they would be in, however. Would you like a training match, perhaps, so that I can get used to using these new pokemon of mine?"

Mark gave Mina "The look" than meant that things were obviously not going very well and called for Corphish to use the same attack again.

Mina flattened her hand in a gesture she hoped was reassuring and kept her expression calm. They weren’t out of the fight yet; if she could get out Houndoom, and he could get in one hit…that might be enough to finish the Wooper.
“Liskayo’s part Fire, if we can get rid of the Wooper Corphish can probably take it out.” She didn’t remember Pylus being particularly sturdy…then again Pylus had been newly hatched…on balance Mina decided not to add anything to that. Hopefully the type advantage would be enough.

Mark nodded and sighed. "Alright buddy, I know you might be getting bored with using this but hit him with vice grip again!" Hopefully he could do a little more damage this time. And if he got lucky... maybe it would go down while Oodramer was still up. Vice grip did tend to get more lucky hits than other moves.

Mina didn't like depending on tactics that required her Pokemon to be in bad shape, but right now, she was starting to wish Oodramer had gotten Poisoned. Or Paralyzed. Facade might have finished the Wooper off by now with the boost...or Oodramer might have been knocked out by the Poison or started spasming. Mina berated herself for even thinking of it. "Facade again!"

Flesh hit steel and Christian jerked his hand back in pain as another sound came from the strange, winged silhouette in front of him. "Scyth Scyther, Scy. Scyther scy scy scyth geo scy, Scyther scyth er ffet scyther! Scy-th-er, scy. GEO!"*
Christian looked in amazement as the huge mantis leapt forward, swords posed to strike down the blue psychic type in one fell swoop! "He's aming for a critical!" Christian taught as the bug suddenly changed its stance to a swipe! "False Swipe?!"
*"Don't be foolish, kid. Throwing your life away will not bring Duke back, and as you are you can not defeat this monster! Leave this to the grown ups, Kid. FOR DUKE!"
