Draloed:
Your Zubat has barely enough to time to hear your order, before the Pachirisu connects with a Spark tackle.
Pachirisu used Spark!
Zubat takes 34 points of damage!
Zubat faints!
You recall your Zubat as the Ranger says, with a grin:
"We're both down to one Pokémon now."

As the Pinsir, and its Rich Boy Trainer, look on in terror, your Scyther deals the final blow.
Scyther uses Quick Attack!
Pinsir takes 8 damage!
Pinsir faints!
The battle ends as suddenly as it had began. The crowd goes wild, cheering for you. The announcer heads over to you and gives you your prize money.
You gained 1000 PD!
Afterwards, once the crowd has calmed down a little, the announcer asks:
"Would you like to swap a Pokémon with your opponent? Keep in mind that you may only swap one, so choose wisely if you decide to do so."

"thunder wave" paralyzing the pach was the best option at the moment.

You swap with your Kakuna for your defeated opponent's Skitty.
You are congratulated by the announcer, who then makes the following announcement:
"Everyone who advances past this round gets to keep one of the rentals for themselves!"
The crowd cheers as one of the breeders takes the announcer aside. You hear mumbling along the lines of:
Breeder: "I thought you had said that only the Final Four would get that privilege.
Announcer: "I know. But, we're seeing some great battles. I'm sure they can take care of the Pokémon well. Also, maybe they'll be the ones that save this region."
Breeder: *sighs* "Fair enough."
((You heard the man! B-E-T-A, pick one of the three Pokémon you have now. You get to keep that Pokémon even if you get eliminated; it gets added to your team.))
((@To the other players: Win your next match, and you guys can do the same.  ))

The Ranger smirks and comments:
"Seems you have the advantage down the stretch."
Magnemite recovers 3 HP with its held Leftovers!

Condition: Paralyzed

((Your spoiling me Winter, was this all planned? first you give me one of my ten favorite pokemons in rentral then you say I can keep one, I'm glad I didn't take pinsir in my rentral group cause then I would have had two of my ten favorites and three of my twenty favorites.))
"Well..." Christian said as he though "Well, I'll take the one that took out two pokemons , scyther." Christian just waited and wondered if he could go...
((Btw, I must say hello from someone in my class, Hilde-Marie and oda. Ohh and Surkit was the "half one" he sucks most of the time to he evolve))

((@B-E-T-A: Kinda. But then again, like I said in the last post, everyone gets to choose one of their rentals to keep, should they win their next match. I had actually planned that whole "keep one rental if you get far enough" since the start of the tournament. By the way...Hello to them as well! ))
Christian:
The announcer starts to run off to the next arena when he notices you waiting. He blushes momentarily and then looks at you, saying:
"Oops! I kinda left you there, didn't I?"
He pauses for a moment, and then continues, saying something you might have suspected from the beginning:
"Well, you can go now. Just remember, you still have to use that team of three for as long as you're in this tournament. You can't keep the Scyther until you lose a match or win the tournament."

Magnemite uses Flash!
The brilliant Flash tears through the battlefield, causing several people in the audience to wince in pain, much like the opponent's Pachirisu.

Misty has a feeling that the Ranger is holding something back, but is not sure why.
"Watch out, he may have something up his sleeve!" she yells, but the crowd drowns her out.
She tries to get closer, but the press of the crowd is too much. Watching anxiously from the stands, she crosses her fingers and hopes for the best.

((Well, you have this one in the bag, except if he Bides, you do over 20 damage to him, and he reverses the damage. Otherwise, you've won.  ))

The tension dissapeared from the battle and draloed relaxed... the chances of the ranger making acomeback were slim.
"tackle" if the pachirisu bides he would just use flash.

The end of the battle is sudden, as the Magnemite unleashes another blinding Flash on the Pachirisu, causing its accuracy to drop another level. As the Pachirisu unleashes its Bide, it manages to connect with the Magnemite, dealing 26 points of damage. However, the Ranger knows that he is done, so he throws in the towel:
"That was well fought. I concede this match."
The crowd applauds the Ranger as he steps out of the arena. The announcer moves over to you and asks:
"Would you like to swap a Pokémon? More importantly, you get to keep one of your Pokémon now, even if you lose, so if you choose to swap, keep that in mind."
