Group:
Fate glares at Spencer and spits out:
"Give them back!
Spencer then hears Mina's order and backs away.
Fate is hit with the Thunder Wave. Such is the power of his emotion that he remains standing, even as the paralysis takes effect. Dove looks at Fate and says:
"Please look at me."
She grasps his face in her hands and stares intently. Fate attempts to bring up his closed fist, but is having trouble due to the paralysis.
"I don't care how much you hurt me, because I know that isn't the real you."
Fate manages to mouth out:
"Get...away...from...me!"
Dove holds him even closer and continues:
"Why are you so scared of me?"
A booming voice can be heard from the sky:
"NO! Stop it! I will have him as my servant!"
You hear the all too familiar voice of Aidrelas. Salerdias cries back into the sky:
"You can't have him!"
((To be continued later. In the meantime, feel free to chime in on the situation.))

Mina doubts what she is going to try will work, but watching all of this is breaking her heart. There is too much contention, too much darkness, and she can't take it. This is not how it is supposed to be, friends are not supposed to attack friends. Even in a place like this.
"Stop. Just stop. This is not right. We fight each other, he wins. Growlithe..lets see if we can make things better. Sunny Day."
Misty looks at Salerdias. "Why? What is this all about? Why can't you help him...or won't you? Is it not a matter of not being able to, but a matter of not wanting to?"
Her heart was already breaking because of all the contention in the area, but she had to know.

Group:
As a completely restored Aidrelas comes back into view, Pidgey sends out its Whirlwind, knocking him back outside of the cleared area.
Salerdia then shoots out an Aeroblast while her brother is distracted, striking him fiercely.
The black bird then says:
"Keep him then. I didn't want him anyways..." ((sour grapes FTL!  ))
Salerdia then looks at her injured brother. Spencer says:
"You're not going after him?"
Salerdia shakes her head and answers:
"No. It's about time for me to return to my dimension, along with all of you."
Meanwhile, Dove continues to plead with Fate:
"Please, I know you're still in there. Do you know why I know this?"
Fate shoots back an inexpressive stare as Dove continues:
"It's because I love you!!"
Fate's stare shows the slightest hint of emotion as Dove hugs him. He then mouths out:
"I...can't...please....leave..."
Dove stares at him defiantly, tears running down her cheeks and continues:
"No! I will not let you destroy yourself!"
((Still to be continued. So much drama, I could write a love novel!  ))

Christian took his uniform and look at his new "boss" before he asked "So, what kind of upgrade do I get? And do I got any missions to do right now or..?" He couldn't think of other questions.

Selene looks at you and answers:
"Upgrades? Explain what you mean further. If you mean Pokémon, you don't need any, you already have your own."
She remembers something and gives you a keycard:
"This you will use to gain access to most of our facilities. I own the Master Keycard that can open everything of course."
You have gained an Officer Keycard!
She then continues:
"Mission? Yes. We need to take back the territories we have lost. We're starting with Ternai Town. You will lead 5 Grunts."
She concludes:
"You will leave in two days time. Any other questions?"

Group (again ):
Dove stares at Fate intently as Salerdia says, more to herself than to anyone in particular:
"Pride."
Spencer overhears her and makes a questioning sound.
"Pride, young one. It's pride that keeps him in this state. His is a soul in turmoil, but I think she *looks at Dove* may be winning this fight."
It appears that Dove overhears the comment as well, as she then asks Fate:
"Is that it? It's ok...you can be wrong. I don't need you to be perfect, I just need you to be you again."
Tears start rolling down Fate's eyes as he says:
"I'm sorr...can't...get..."
All of his emotions clash as he starts shaking, and golden light starts to surround him.
Dove looks at him and says:
"That's it. Fight it! I'm right here besides you."
Fate then says:
"I'm sorry...too...scared...please..."
The black shroud seems to be surrounding Dove as well, as her attempts to bring Fate back seem to be beat back.
Salerdia notices the change and appears to be hesitant.
"This is getting out of hand...I have to..."
She bites her own tongue as she sees Dove be consumed by darkness. Dove seems to be shaking in fear, but she keeps talking to Fate:
"You're not the only one scared. But you can fight this. See? You can fight this. Focus!"
Salerdia makes the closest thing to a smile a bird can make and comments:
"That is one brave young woman."
Spencer nods in response.
Shadows escape from Fate's body and he falls down to his knees again. He is enveloped by golden light. After a few moments he gets up again. He looks at everyone and puts a hand on his head:
"What have I done?"
The darkness consuming Dove leaves as she sees Fate back to normal. Suddenly, Fate drops back to his knees. Dove momentarily panics, until she realizes that he is still paralyzed. He says:
"I'm sorry. I can't move."
She smiles and replies:
"You don't have to apologize for things you can't control, but there's one thing you can..."
She then takes Fate in a loving embrace and kisses him.
Spencer comments:
"Requited love is so beautiful."
Golden light enveloped the couple as Salerdia said:
"Yes, it is."
((The drama is done. Feel free to chime in again and ask the birdy more stuff. ))

"Well you see...ehm...what should I call you? "Boss" or...?" Christian asks before moving on to his answer "Well yeah, I meant a little pokémon, but also about gadgets and items. You see, I've heard quite a couple of rumors about diffrent kind of fancy stuff gans like yours...ours..or whatever, has. Wondering if I would get something like that?"

Group:
After what seems like an eternity, Spencer asks Salerdia:
"What just happened?"
Salerdia shoots a "Weren't you watching with me?" look at Spencer as he elaborates:
"I mean, what happened to Fate? For that matter, I've felt unusually angry ever since we got here."
Salerdia looks at the rest of the group and says:
"Like I said that one time during my little clash with my brother, this is the Land of Emotion. Emotions can and will come to life if you feed them. In Fate's case, such was the anger he felt that he was consumed by it. It is much harder to break free once you're trapped in that matter."
She then takes a look at Spencer's father, lowers her head slightly in a sign of greeting, and continues:
"This property of the Land of the Emotion has warped people in such a manner before. One of them is the reason why the region is in such a mess as it is."
Spencer thinks about Aidrelas, and gets cut off:
"No, not my brother. I said people, as in humans. I was talking about Selene..."
"Aidrelas played to her distress and depression after the loss of her fiancee. Everyone knows the legends and how he is not trustworthy, but he dragged her here, and told her that if she brought the region to its knees, that he would revive her fiancee."
Dove chimes in:
"That's cruel!"
Salerdia nods and adds:
"Considering that he, and me while we're on the subject, can't actually revive anyone, yes it's terribly cruel. But, as you may imagine, Aidrelas cares not about humanity. In fact, he cares little about Pokémon. He's self-centered and cold. He just wants the adulation."
"In any case, she was warped by her emotions and accepted. Ever since, you've seen what has happened to the region. You arrived just in time to stop them from attaining total victory."
((Small pause for PC chiming in before Portal of Plot appears. ))

Draloed:
Pellana looks at the Hitmonlee and says:
"No good. Plan B!"
Hitmonlee returns!
Pellana sends out Shambak!
The next Pokémon she sends out looks very familiar. As you scan it, you realize that it is the evolution of Shambox (that one grass ox you fought in the other gym, if you still remember that. ). It's only about four feet tall, but extremely stocky.
Shambak

Level: 22
HP: 91
Attack: 38
Defense: 47
Speed: 29
Sp.Atk: 29
Sp.Def: 38
Sting uses Acupressure! ((roll = 2))
Sting's Attack goes up two levels! ((you're way too lucky. ))

Christian:
Selene looks at you as if you have just slapped her in the face. You think you can barely make out "What did he see in this kid anyways?" from among her mumbling. She replies:
"Well, Altros had the only jetpack in our armory. As for gadgets, we don't really do gadgets. Why even bother?"
For a moment, you see a hint of sadness and compassion in her eyes as she stares at you. It quickly dies away as she concedes:
"Fine. Wait a moment."
She takes a metal sphere out of her desk and gives it you, saying:
"This is a Bandra Edition Smoke Sphere."
She pauses and then elaborates:
"It's a reusable Smoke Ball. You throw it, it makes smoke and attempts to fly back to you."
She then glares at you with the cold look usually reserved for her foes:
"Woe be you if you ever lose that..."
She dismisses you coldly as you're escorted to your sleeping quarters.

Group (again):
As Salerdia finishes talking about Selene, a portal appears in the center of the courtyard.
"And that," said Salerdia, "is our way back."
As the group headed into the portal, one by one, Salerdia places a seed in the middle of the courtyard, which quickly blooms into a white sapling. She smiles as she heads into the portal as well.
Zorpaleus remains behind, watching the sapling.
Back in Helnith (well the non-Spectral part of it anyways ), you all notice you are deep inside of a huge pit. Salerdia flies you all out one by one. A quick look at the map piece shows you that you are south of Siltis Village.
((Now what?  ))

In his sleeping quarters, Christian lays on hos bed and look around in the room((how does the room look like?)) then he thinks a little about the teaming up with Team Brandra. "It went smoother than I had expected. But it was suprising how I ended up here, I thought that I atleast had to stick with that other group for some more time before encountering Team Brandra again." Christian thought inside of himself.
He took up his pokédex and looked at it. He knew he had to send a few messages. Christian started writing a message:
Hello boys and girls, I hope this message finds you all. I ain't sure it will as you are all currently...atleast I think you are all, in the spectral dimension. First of all I will just say that I seem to be safe and sound in the normal dimension again, the black bird didn't do anything to kill me atleast... Now, I can't tell you were I am or anything, I am just checking how ya all are doing.

he sent the message to all that he knew was in Fate's group((including Mamga's character)). He used the secure channel that he knew of, hoping team Brandra had yet to figure it out.
"Now, there is just one more message to send..."
Christian typed in a coded message and sent it through the secure channel.
After awhile, remembered his newest captured pokémon and decided giving taming it a new try, he then released Tyrasin.

Mina had to cover her eyes against the dust as Salerdia took off again, gradually transporting the party out of the pit. The pit in question was enormous, and her inner explorer was protesting loudly that they never had gotten to check out those ancient temple ruins…
But they had responsibilities to tend to, Mina reminded herself reluctantly as she watched the large bird swoop up to the cliff top once again. Their Pokemon were all in good health and cleansed of Shadowing thanks to Salerdia, but Fate was still paralyzed and they had no idea if Draloed had made it out of the attack on that little town or not. She had hoped her helicopter crash had provided enough distraction for he and Dream to escape, but…
~Draloed, are you there? We’re back.~ she typed to the trainer in question. There was no immediate response; Mina, of course, had no idea that Draloed was currently locked up in Hillsbreak, several corridors and a safe combination away from his Pokedex. She fretted as the minutes stretched out; was he dead? On the other hand, he hadn’t been terribly prompt at checking his texts the last time she’d tried to contact him that way. Or maybe he was just asleep…
Asleep. At this time of day. Yeah right, Mina.
Unfortunately there was nothing to do about it in any case. Mina put her Pokedex away and paced anxiously while the remainder of the group was brought up. Nothing they could do for Draloed right now, just like there was nothing they could ever do for poor Christian—
Breeeee…Breeeee…
Half-expecting their albino friend and half-expecting a taunt from some Bandra goon who may have gotten hold of the former’s Pokedex, Mina felt a sense of shock as the text on the screen became clear.
Christian sent you a message!

“HE MADE IT!!!” Mina shrieked happily. “Christian made it!” Immensely cheered to know her friend wasn’t dead, she hastily punched up a brief response.
~We’re back and everyone’s fine, more or less. We’ll catch up with you when we can.~
Mina briefly considered asking him to let them know if he needed help or if anything else came up, but reconsidered; it wasn’t as if they could DO anything if he did need assistance, after all. Spirits mostly restored, Mina turned to the rest of the group, bringing up the map on her Pokedex as she did so.
 
“So, what should we do now?” she asked. Mina could still feel a small undercurrent of worry, but she spared it only a single though before pushing it to the back of her mind.
Please, please Draloed be okay…

The grass ox is sent reeling back as Pellana bites her lip before saying:
"Well, can't say I didn't expect that."
Shambak uses Headbutt!

As you send out the Tyrasin, it quickly glares at you. Without the corrupting influence of the Spectral Dimension to make matters worse, it just stands still, waiting.
Perhaps there's a way to restore Shadow Pokémon back to normal? ((well, there is, but you wouldn't know that IC at the moment.  ))
You quickly find out that it is going to take a long while before this Pokémon starts obeying you.
You call it back and then fall asleep.
((One day before the attack on Ternai.))
You wake up hungry some 8 hours later and make your way towards the cafeteria. Except, you have no clue where the cafeteria is and you accidentally enter the laboratory.
There, some scientists quickly notice and attempt to throw you out of the lab. Tubes with Pokémon inside them fill the room. They appear to be using dark matter for something...
Having discovered this, you are ushered out of the room and are pointed in the direction of the cafeteria.
At the brink of unconsciousness (()) you find the cafeteria and notice a line with several Grunts holding trays. As you make to join the line, you get tapped on the shoulder. You look back to see Selene, who drags you to the front of the line and says, simply, in a cold tone:
"Officers cut lines. Your well-being is more important than theirs. They are expendable. You are as well, but not as much."
((You can RP for a bit here. I'm giving Mamga time to finish that gym battle; don't want him writing in two different timelines at once. XD))

Group:
Once Salerdia has finished transporting the group out of the pit. Dove asks the majestic bird in a sheepish tone:
"About..."
Salerdia senses her thoughts and chuckles:
"I thought you'd enjoy having a mate that can't run away."
Dove laughs and says:
"Slightly, but I'd prefer it if he could move."
Salerdia laughs a bit more and places her beak on Fate's forehead. He is enveloped in a white glow that removes the paralysis. He quickly gets up and hugs Dove. After a few seconds of tenderness, your question is heard.
Fate says:
"Snce we're so close to home already, we could go visit. I'm sure Elder Saha is worried sick as well."
He shoots a glance at Dove and adds:
"I'm sure our parents would love to see us now."
Spencer then hugs his father and starts crying. He dries his tears and says:
"My brother will pay for what he has done to you."
The Elder sighs and answers:
"I'd prefer if that didn't have to come to pass. Brothers should not be as you two are, but he is consumed by his own selfish desires. And you..."
The Elder places a loving hand on Spencer's cheek:
"...I am very proud of. So, in spite of all that has happened, I wouldn't have lived my life any other way."
They hug again as Salerdia shuffles uncomfortably. A single tear drops from her eye, landing on the ground and creating a patch of white grass.
((You guys decide. You have two RP days to blow, so to speak. You could all meet up in Ternai. Epicness FTW! ))

Mitsu leans down and takes a few blades of the white grass then looks at Mina. "How about we go explore somewhere? Up to you where."
She is still unsure as to what just transpired, confused even, but she does want to do more exploring and see what all she can see. Wanting to get stronger so she can challenge gyms and contests, she does want one specific thing. "Hey, any idea what berries would make good poffins to use on Phoebe?"

Mina nodded. “There’s something I need to do in Dewdrop before we attack the next base. You could probably find some berries there,” she offered, her tone a question. “I’m not sure what kind of berries you’d need though. Oran maybe?”
Mina flipped through her Pokedex to the Breeding tutorial. (She figured they could just ask Spencer directly, seeing as he was right there, but he was having a touching moment with his father and it seemed unkind to interrupt.) “It says that Chahal berries should work…”

Stacey just watched the scene take place, then turned around, facing Mina and Misty. She was unsure of what they should do herself, and was grateful Mina had made a suggestion.
"Dewdrop? That sounds like a great idea. I have nowhere else better for us to go to, so that sounds like a plan!"

Group:
Fate and Dove look at the rest of the group and say:
"Well I think we deserve a small break before advancing against Team Bandra. Me and Dove are heading back to Siltis Village."
Spencer nods in acknowledgment and says:
"I'm going back to Hillsbreak with Dad."
Salerdia looks at everyone in the group and says:
"Fate and Dove can walk back since we're near Siltis anyways. As for the rest of you, hop on!"
Salerdia then adds, in a light tone:
"That way they can catch up."
Dove giggles as Fate's face is covered in a quizzical look.
As Fate and Dove walk back to Siltis, the rest of the group take flight.
A few minutes later, Salerdia announces:
"First stop, Dewdrop Forest!"
She then starts dropping altitude and lands lightly on the ground.
((Who's staying here?))

"Bye guys! Take care!" Mina called as Dove and Fate spiraled away into tiny blots of color below them.
The journey to Dewdrop was swift and uneventful, and in contrast to her last journey by flight accross the continent, Mina was conscious and alert. The terrain however, hadn't changed much.
"Wow, but it's dry here." Mina remarked as acres of parched grass and barren earth passed by beneath them. "Oh hey, look!" On the distant horizon was a blurr of green that gradually manifested into trees and greener scrub. Dewdrop Forest.
Mina slid off once they had properly landed, but before stepping away completely she compulsively grabbed Spencer's arm and whispered into his ear:
"Keep an eye on your dad, okay? He was in there for a long time, and we don't know if there will be any...side effects. Be careful."
Then she darted away so the others could dismount.

((Misty for Dewdrop ))
On the way to Dewdrop at first she was concentrating on remembering the type of berry she would need to find. At least until she actually saw the forest from up high. The view was breathtaking. When they landed she was actually sad the journey here was over. She would have to find her very own flying pokemon to be able to do that anytime she wanted!
She followed Mina, a little in her own world, mostly keeping an eye out for a flying pokemon and berries.
