The link to the 3rd version does not work.  I would love to have this mod though, and thank you for all of your hard work!  I downloaded the second version since the link still works and was impressed.

Does anyone have the third version?

OK, so I deleted the spell section of the file (which included the cost increase for runes I suppose) and now I'd like to edit heroes. A lot of names, spell, creature, and perk names used in the file don't match the in game names, so where can I find a list for these keywords to be used? I can find the list of perk names at cheat sections, but idk which are which.
Could you give some instructions about how to add favored enemies and talismans in case of Sylvan and Academy heroes?
That's all I can think of right now that I need help with.
Edit: Oh, and I already have the mod with the name "Zenithale's_New_Arenas". I assume it came with the mod for TotE which enables the campaigns from the previous H5 games, so I assume I should delete the one which only contains the arenas and use the other one.

Regarding the IDs used by the game, you can find them in a .pdf in your game folder:
...Editor Documentation/HOMM5_IDs_for_Scripts.pdf
There is also a way to find both "names" and "IDs", that's to create a Preset Hero with the Editor, with the Skills & Perks (or Spells) you search, save and then open the created file with an Archiver (like Winrar) and look to know what are their IDs.

About Favored enemies and Talismans, they are always random (from 0 to the max of your ability). I guess that's possible to write a script in Lua if you want something else.

Regarding the New Arenas MOD, it's more recent than the Presets Level 20 MOD (except if you have modified and re-saved the arenas files), so the game should only take into consideration the New Arenas MOD. If really something is wrong you should just remove the old parts about the arenas in the Presets Level 20 MOD (who includes only one new arena).

Zenithale,

Is it possible this arenas to be used in LAN games between players or they work only for hotseat/single player?

Also is it possible to make some arenas appear on specific places for example - bridge arena if player is set on bridges etc..

New Arenas MOD (and News Presets as well btw) works perfectly in all multiplayer modes IF all players use the MOD. Else, in case of battle between 2 human players, if only one of them has the MOD and the RNG load a new arena, the other player screen is frozen because the arena does not exist in his game files.
In think that's the case of all MODs who add contents/modify numbers/... to the game (and not just change some textures), it may appears some issues in Multiplayer mode if all players don't use it.

(Of course you can also be lucky with a RNG who pick only standard arena when you fight your opponent, and in this case you have no problem... )

Regarding the specific grounds, yes, that's already the case. Look at the original thread HERE, "Keikan no Jigoku" may appear on Orcish and Inferno grounds for example.

If you want to add other really specific conditions, like a bridge, I am not 100% sure. If I am not wrong there are specific locations with specific Arenas (like Towns and Siege Arenas), so this should be possible for them. But regarding the Bridges I think they are linked to a specific ground (like the Lave Bridge linked to the Lava Ground), so there are 2 solutions:

1) hard way: write a script (I have not tried, but I guess you can find examples in campaign maps with special arenas) ;

2) easy way: create a specific arena for it, on the right ground, and remove all other arenas which could appear on the same ground.
But in this case, note all games you play on it or on older maps will have the same conditions. So, if you create a specific Lava Arena with a bridge on Lava Ground and remove all other standard Lava Arenas, you are 100% sure to play your map on the Lava Bridge (because there is only one left available), but the issue is all your battles on the Lava Ground (on your map or on older while your Map/MOD is in the game folder (because in fact even Maps works like MODs)) will always load your Lava Bridge Arena, which may be strange/annoying to battle on a Bridge while you should be in a Lava Mountain/Plains/... for example.

About bridges, there is 2 kinds of it that I can think of.
The classic murder bridge from LOL - Howling Abyss - wide but still provides limitation
and the Abyss arena which is available by default in HoMM 5. Dungeon preset which in narrowed down at the middle. Idk which version introduced it.

I made some progress with editing your mod. Did some math and made some charts about unit prices and amounts. You will be able to check it out in the documentation that I'm making.

I noticed that if the starting passives(Basic racial Skill with 2 additional skill/perk)
conflict with the passives that I gave, than a few thing gets bugged out and don't give the desired results, so I will need to change some hero starting passives.
Edit: Never mind, this is my bad. It can be done.

Also, did you tried to add more than 3 heroes from each faction? I'd like to do it. Maybe if I change the preset costs from 0  to between 1 and 1000 than it will work out.
I asked some other question in the Modder's Workshop Questions Topic, feel free to check it out, a few other could involve your answer/solution.

Regarding the number of heroes of each Factions (3), I didn't find a solution to increase it. In fact, note I have modified all the officials heroes of the Duel Mode, because that was the only solution I found to increase their Level (impossible with the Preset Editor).
