Not fond of the concept of another human faction, but an Egyptian themed one is interesting and rare, though not unique, I've been working on one myself:
Tier 1: Kheper - Scarab/Scorpion
Tier 2: Bastite - Sekmetite/Maahesite
Tier 3: Mummy - Pharaoh/Asclepius
Tier 4: Buto - Wadjet/Nehebkau
Tier 5: Soul Eater - Ammit/Taweret
Tier 6: Sphinx - Criosphinx/Hierocosphinx
Tier 7: Firebird - Phoenix/Angha (formerly Huma)

Wow,intresting new ideas
But a suggestion a the Tier 7
Firebird - Phoenix\Huma
I don't like the name Huma,and if is an alternate upgrade you can have the Thunderbird or if you want to remain a fire flyer I suggest the FireGriffin

Okay, so Huma isn't technically Egyptian, but Persian, but it is a phoenix. Thunderbird doesn't fit, and there is no way in heck I'm ever going for 'Firegriffen', although Simorgh or Angha might work.
