Indeed.Archangel's atack,defence,dmg,skill(resurection)and SPEED(18,only pheonix have beter speed,21),make this unit to be stronger lvl 7 unit.
And if we are speaking about neutral unit,the best neutral unit is AZURE DRAGON.1000hp,fear ability,50 atack,50 defence,70-80 dmg,that is enough to say that it is the best neutral creature.

Azure Dragon is a lvl 10 monster, not lvl 7 monster
Btw. Blackies are my fav lvl 7 monster (Magic immunity, which can beat damn many monster, if the hero has armageddon on his/her spellbook)

Blackies are immune to all magic, but that why we have Anti-magic and Resistance (that's why I always chose Rangers when palying rampart). Furthermore, it's an artie called Orb of Vulnearbility....

With an army of blackies and a spell book, which include armageddon. Now that's epic, but now i've said once to myself few times (Thanks to you Zamfir ), that Orb of Vulnerability CAN be a tormentor for Armageddon

and what if the warlock has the orb of vulnerability? he can choose whether he wants to protect his dragons, or buff them

1) Archangels wait

5) Archangels hit AB again
By then they're probably all dead, and maybe 1 or 2 angels died in the counterattack.
^^if ABs have been Hasted, those Archangels are dead meat
Black Dragons.. simply for their magic immunity, connecting attack, and, well.. they look and sound tough hehe

It depends, the AA guy can cast first. However most of the spells can be countered too.
Lets say the AA casts SLOW then waits, then the AB guyh ave to caste Haste and thus wins.

When I said Ab is the best, I said that it will win any 1-vs-1 stack fight with other lvl. 7 unit, presuming the numbers are equal.
And, btw, in this situation 10 AB crush 10 AA.

Statically ArchAngel and Phoenix are best but i don't like them too much (esp. phoenix)
I like Black Dragons all time. And Ancients great for me..

In practice, you must also think how fast can you get them, how fast can you recruit hem, not only who will have te better stack in the endfight.
Getting Ab early has many implications.

AB's beat any other level 7 1on1 except the Titan.
The defense reduction makes the damage too high for them to bear.
Ofc AA has res, speed and flying what would make it better in practice if not for their huge price tag.

What i can say is we cannot tell who is indeed the best creature.In a game,a creature depend a lot of Hero's Status,hero's Skilss,hero's magics,of the rest of the army.Depends a lot of this,so we cant tell who is best.If u want to play 1v1 with creature,then u cant make a map with only 2 heroes,no magic,1 to all primary stats,no skills.
But then,when 1v1 the best is Pheonix because it has rebirth.It is like fighing against 2.
AB are beter for me,cause they are strong,they help a lot the army,they have fix dmg 50-50,big speed.
So beter let's finish this conversation cause we can stay here forever fighting eachother.
