Hi, i need help! How to make videos of Heroes 1-4?
Hi guys. Im a bit confused. I want to make a nice video of heroes games but i cant capture videos :S
Fraps wont let me. Tryed HyperCam but it wont capture sound like Fraps does and it absolutly dosent capture Heroes 2-3, i havent even checked 4th game.
Please help.

I make videous with this program. But after that you better compress the file with Virtual Dub.
BTW - why do you need sound for the videos? It brings no information whatsoever.

for hyper cam: did you enable the sound recording? go to the tab named sound and tick the record sound option

Yes i tried the sound recorcer but i think its for just if u have a microphone. Anyway im trying that other progaram tomorrow that was suggiested. Thank you!

maby it doesnt capture heroes 2-3 because heroes 4 uses 3d acceleration(if im not mistaken) and fraps only adapts to direct3D Draw applications.
I have an application that can record any windows activity at the expence of hardware acceleration, its called 'camtasia studio 4'
I'll upload it for you on rapidshare or you can google for a copy on the interwebs.
another option would be to use zdsoft game recorder It records visuals and sound, but again, not sure if it only applies to 3d applications.

that didnt help, it wont let me select heroes 2 window, when i capture full screen then it just records black screen with the heroes 2 logo mouse but not gameplay

damn! sorry then, have you tried both the software I mentioned? Maby you should adjust some settings fires, i will try tonight as well and see if it works for me.

It does work but rather poorly, sorry hey. Maby if you have a decent pc it might be better, what you need to do is un-click disable 3d acceleration. Then it can record heroes 3 but the mouse mooves very quickly so you have to do everything extra slowly..

i have a quad cpu and a 8800gt. Ok ill try to look at the 3d acceleration somewhere.
