something I found out just recently and that I havn't spotted in the guide (it might be there just that I didn't find it) is hw to URL an image.
if you want a link to be an image then write the URL link.
Example:
(that's a link)
the trick is, firstly, post the link thingy, ([ url=][ /url])
and then before the [ /url] part, type [img](Image link here, also works with smileys)[ /img]
just something that could be in the guide
EDIT: Didn't get it to work , but in my sig there's an image that is a link, so try to explain by that.

Well that's pretty logical, but maybe it's useful for noobs.
I mean, the [url] tag does nothing but make the 'stuff' between it a link, whether it is an image, text, or combination or something else etc...
