Hey so just lost a game just because i didn't have all my units but i managed to retreat but (was week 4) hero was no where to be found..
This ofcourse is a major bug but yes i know - they changed this (since 3.1? ) so its probably by design but what gives? what on earth were they thinking? - Is this some mega-stupid move to try and eliminate hit and run? - does surrender still works? - if so they understand its meaningless - And also if surrender works i just lost the game for nothing cuz had 1 imp so surrender with that would cost nothing so all i needed was to surrender - but anyone really knows whats up with this new "fix" how does this work now?

or even more important if the map was Rat Race and you retreat with the hero you got when you take the garrison next to town... then ...
that hero will be gone..

exactly fiur thats what happened so its something unique only to rat race?
That alone basically makes using the hero from the gate a very bad decision..
Also is there a logical reasoning to this happening?

Yes it is Idan....
something to do with script's for this map... Ask Teacher he can explain... ____________
I think it has more to do with... the map maker really doesnt want people using certain power heroes so he handicaps you for actually using them. Kinda like a compromise.. he wont ban them from map completely.. but dont really want you useing them.
