Yeah definetly deep freeze! Would also go very well with the theme of your creature (Pardon me saying so but he looks much more "icey" than "waterish").

But Deep freeze is already in use of Winterwolf and alternative Wraith upgrade, don't overuse it.
Is is not very original, but we need some normal creatures as well  Quality gfx.

But yeah he/she made the creature how it is now and so it's about how we can improve this piece of work. And considering the style and the tier of the creature Deep Freeze might very well be one of it's abilities, no?
That's not saying that your advice should definetly be heared for future creations though.

the creature looks cool (except the armour could maybe look frozen too, no?) but why do all ice creatures have such unoriginal abilities?(and why are they so few cold based abilities in the game?)
look, the ice giant by TSoD, or whatever it is called :
Spells : Ice bolt (Advanced), Circle of Winter (Advanced)
Abilities : Living. Large Creature. Spell Caster. Immunity to Mind Control. Immunity to Water. Aura of Fire Vulnerability.
he almost has the same abilities
and guess what, the ice elemental by samigina :
spells : circle of winter, ice bolt, deep freeze
abilities : elemental, shooter, immune to water, aura of fire vulnerability

Well I believe you've already answered that question. I mean if you make an ice or water based creature you simply don't have anything else to work with.
