I was never any good with coming up with random syllables for names, but I always took forever to name my video game characters.
Well years ago I signed up for Neopets and I needed a name. I loved Bionicles at the time, and while a few people knew the names of the characters, no one knew the names of their masks. I chose my favorite character, who also had one of the most powerful masks (the masks gave you minor powers, his was flight), IMO, so I used his mask's name. No one would ever recognize it, and it would never be taken. Well Miru was already take so it assigned me a number - 80.
A year or two ago I found out the creators of Bionicle were about as creative in naming things as me - Miru was some tribe's god of destruction. I then found out Miru was female.
So I decided to pick a new name, and I chose Rho (127). 127 because that is close to some famous number like Pi, but I forgot what it was.
I use Miru for family and some friends, its more of an innocent name, while rho is my hacker / dark name.
My avatar is Miru, and I think it does a good enough job describing me.

When I first came to HC, I wanted to have a new original nickname. Since I got to Heroes forum, I decided it should be something related with Heroes, proabably the creatures. While registering, I looked at the avatars list of the registering page, to get inspired. My favorite mythologic creature is the Phoenix, and I name some nice nicknames for myself related to it, and then I noticed that all the Phoenixes are reserved, and I wanted to have a suitable avatar. Then I checked the list again and found the Djinn Sultan. I thoght about Djinn... Genie... Sultan... Lord! GenieLord.
