I don't know if it's to "believe" in what he posted -- he posted concise microscopic photos. So it definitely does happen. However, if it truly has feelings, that is more philosophical, but at least it DOES happen (which is a lot less questionable).
Just like in quantum mechanics where there is the "weird" effect of changing depending on observation -- so it is influenced by an outside observer! (by just LOOKING at it).

And where I won't be able to follow you, really, seeing as I pretty much reject the existence of any other reality than this one, until I can see some plausible evidence for it. Or them.

Yeah I would say that the water would be ever changing and then they just happen to pick ones that look nice for words like prayer etc.
I'm with Terje: words are just sounds. It depends on the speaker to give them meaning.
This is a human construct.

OK, now, let me prove you:
I don't remember when and where, but once while scientists were on a congress and tried to make a new biological weapon, the water in their glasses drained the destructive atmosphere and when one of the scientists drinked it, he died. After that, it was proven that the water's (the one in the glasses) chemical formula was H2O.

Maybe not the words themselves, but the emotion put into the breath could effect something... There's much we don't understand, like how our brain functions. We barely scratch the surface as to why we act so irrationally. Why do we have emotions? We have been mapped out mechanically, but there could (not saying that there IS much truth to these things, only saying something is possible) be more than what we perceive there to be.

Herodotus claimed that there's a time of the year where all Slavic men turn into wolves.
That man created history.
Not to mention other things humanity claimed to "know for sure" throughout history, and even recent times.
Similarly, it only makes sense that a lot of what we now think is true (not talking about the proven, such as gravity, or that the world is a globe - I'm talking about various assumptions and unproven theories, both spiritual and scientific) can be turned upside down, no matter how logical or illogical they sound today.
So, to claim that there's nothing beyond our comprehension is not only unproven but also quite unlikely, everything taken into account. Our comprehension is short, ever-changing and completely bound to what we are able to see. Hence, common sense says that no matter what we think about something apparently trivial such as water, we shouldn't exclude at least a tiny chance of it being affected in a way we can't fully understand as of yet. Especially when, as Dagoth said, a huge percentage of our own brain is completely unknown.
Science does not create things by itself. It allows us to see, and hence realize. What we cannot see, we cannot research, use or talk about. So, I vote we admire the pictures (they are quite beautiful) and let professional scientists (as opposed to laymen like us) further research this experiment, instead of judging other people by whether they believe in it or not.

Quantum mechanics didn't sound "nice" to Einstein... you don't think that's true as well? 
(in fact he said that "quantum mechanics will signify the end of physics as a science" so it must have been pretty serious don't you think?

Annoying? What is "annoying"? Pictures? Facts? Even if they were randomly shaped like that, what is annoying to see in those pictures?
That's like saying: "It's annoying to see the moon because I don't want it to exist, so pictures of the moon are annoying to me"
