Sim turns is nice, but for me sim turn off is no reason to ignore UBI maps. On UBI server they go another way, they put time limit 1-5 min per turn, this is nightmare for me, i forced to make every time my oun game with 8 min per turn. Can't say game is longer on UBI maps, from my experience half of game on Hour Glass or Genesis is with sim turns off, players use tactics - attack border guard, take bonuses, arties etc, teleport home, sim turn become off ... Repeat this with all remaining border guards... Don't think this save time ...

Just on a side note to the hero selection or subject of power heroes, and diegis response to that 
Fraudatio and I played a very nice game awhile back, before the strikeout system, we decided to pick our factions. However the one catch was that the opponent was to choose your main hero. So both players get handicapped immediately by a subpar hero. And actually as it turned out some new power from these "poor" heroes is discovered.
It was a fun game, and I do agree.. that starting out on day 1 and seeing Brand, Svea, and some other hero in your tavern and noticing that not only did your opponent get ossir as a main, but he has havez for a second!.. well this is daunting and can be very irritating.
But back tot he OP this is an incredibly unfair series of events you describe. Its clear your opponent wanted to reload what was sure to be a loss for him.

Creepy Destro, I had that game with Fiur...I got Ossir he got some dwarf, I think it was Brand. Of course I lost because I suck...but some of those heroes with bad specials have nice starting skills.
In my games I like to play all random. It just seems more fun.

I have to say Im really disappointed how every single "DISHONEST THING" is dragged into forum when its not even clear what exactly happened...
AND how some people do put someone of as dishonest when they have heard only 1 side of the story...
First of all, Im not the one Diegis played against, but I happen to know the one who did in RL and he is a nice guy and doesnt cheat.
It was the first match between them and they didnt know each other. During that turn my friend disconnected and they had to redo the turn. Not all movement was done last before the disconnect so it Diegis cant really say that something different was done.
Diegis accused him of disconnecting reasoning that he was disconnected from heroes and msn but not from hamachi...
This can happen has happened to me to.
Afterward he talked to Diegis on MSN for a long time but maybe due to language or communication problems Diegis didnt understand what my friend tried to explain him.
They reloaded and continued and Diegis got owned pretty bad which I totaly understand since Academy(Espescially with Havec) is very strong on Genesis.
My friend decided to not post here since His name wasn't mentioned and he allready tried to explain for a long time to Diegis.
Its sad that after 1 incident of gameplay someones name is dragged down without having all the facts.
Now that People ask for the name of the so called cheater so they can ban him I decided to post.
This is really sad and makes me want to leave this site....

Have you red what was my strategy? My plan? My surprise element?
I bet you have not.
I will summarize just for you: in one day after landing, I could have won, cose he was nowhere, not in town, not in the way to town. He changed route in right moment when I was on water - second time after dc -, before breaking the gates.= meaning right in time for comming to town and making arties, which he did!
What more clearly you need to know? Anyway I assumed a risk and I payed, nothing that Im complain about it!
Also I have prtscreen when he addmited he changed his way on purpose, and added, "so what?"
Also, I have prtscreen with his movement points remained, before he dc! - that prove exactly when he lied. (saying he didnt move that turn.. - in fact he almost finish turn...
Also he tried to explain me nothing on msn, he reported and vanish!
Also many others, but I didnt post them, cose I said why
Let the man say smth, if he think its not right, Im only ears, may be Im wrong, and miss the point of playing heroes and respect some rules, which Im not I think at least in this case!
Also my reason for this thread was not this, cose I reported, remember?-but was a bit curious about this, (read the title Tinta...)and if I could do it in my advantage versus you, what would you say?
Finally, thats one sure thing for me, this method of mine in this game, shows me it wasnt good one, but risky, and Ill not use it versus nobody, I found my answer

btw, i felt amazed after that, I couldnt get my answer about what I've made wrong, but I admit my strategy was very wrong...in this situation ofc and need to improve just a bit

I serius think to make rule for read this forum 1 time per week max. Direction on what going forum last 1-2 month is totaly wrong. All people blame eatch other and argue. Do you forget this is place for play? If you dont like some one just dont play him.
About dishonorable acts... Most from new people do it but after some time they learn to care less for points and more for his reputation. Just give them time. No need to blame every new member for his mistake... if he did it.

The only way to beat Havez on Genesis is to rush.With Ossir you must be at his main town gates in week 4 .If you didnt manage to do that ,all is lost for sure.

I play with Jinxer this days on genesis.In day six I atacked lots of magnetic golems and lost some spears and defenders.When I finished fight was a disconnection.
We reload and I didnt atack anymore the magnetic golems.Jixer saw this and forced me to do the same moves which I did.I fought much better and lost only few defenders.
So ,till today i didnt think is important same moves but you must know that every action have a reaction who will reflect in next turns and can slow down your creeping.
Conclusion is that same moves is very important in every moment of the game ,especialy when the final battle is near.
So Diegis when you saw that he made other moves after reload ,you should forced him to do same moves.

yes, this is where I made mistake, I shouldnt allow him even when I saw Havez returning like a rocket in the castle, even if all game ran smoothly and no dc or lag at all, but when I broke 
But I dont care. It seems i have to learn same lesson over and over again. May be somebody else will learn this faster than me and teach me some tricks
EDIT: and btw, next time a crap like this will happen again, or someone will try a "cheap trick" like this, I'll write again on forum, and do whatever I'll think till I will be expelled or whatever. Be fair and will be treated fair, tinta! Got enough and case closed!

Okay, even though my name wasn't mentioned, i'll reveal the mysterious stranger.
Situation was: He broke garrison on water (mid turn), afterwards i go with Havez to my town to create artifacts because i wanted to break the 300 Griffons garrison (must have been in the second half of the turn). I never imagined that he would come over the water because his army was too small and his stats were too low, I stand in town, doing artifacts, then i get a disconnect.
We reload: I go with Havez first in town because i wanted to, but the important thing is: i didn't do anything different with him despite moving him first. To accentuate the point: Havez moved the same way and he did the same things as he did before. I still didn't expect him to come over so i moved out of town in the direction of the garrison.
This i wrote to him thrice in the game and in msn because he started to whine about how i spoiled his surprise element and blablabla.
Conclusion was i got to the garrison, broke it, saw in wonder that he was coming to my town and got back to own him.
Such things really ruin the fun of the game for me.
I don't think i didn't do anything dishonorable at all and i strongly advise some fellows here not to judge too fast.

another example of completely misplaced discussions if one ask me, but one thing i dont understand - if drownage didn`t end his turn before the dc - then what could possibly be the issue? He could always town portal with no move left. If he town portaled earlier after restart why should that be an issue?

i said I stop arguing smth more about subject. Everyone is free to believe whatever. Im not going to ask or answer everyone questions, especially when the answer is very simple.
I have few games to run and ill concentrate on them
