ToH Arena Champion 2008 ( reports and rankings)
Registration is finally over and it's time for battle.
Rankings
Updated Friday 12 december, added restarts available row.
Deadline for the Group Phase is 14 December 2008, games not played until that date become void for both players. -- extended till 21 December
Playoffs
Matches in the playoffs are played in a system of best three out of five, strike-out system is used for race selection.
Reports
Every player, in the tournament must face all the others in two random arena games. The report for those games should be posted in this topic, and should look something like this:

Towerlord (Dungeon - Yrwanna) losses Sq79 ( Necro - Lucretia)
Final result: 1-1
In case of restarts, restarted matcups must be reported, so we can keep count of the number of restarts remaining.
Ex: Towerlord (Orcs - Gorshack) vs. Sq79 (Inferno - Nebiros) restarted by Towerlord
You can also include replays, and comments or any additional info about your games, in the reports.
All the players please start joining the battlefield ( the official hamachi network), where you can easily meet all the others.

I havent played this map so far and this kind of games, but with Elvin 2 times, (different map)..., so Ill loose badly, but...theres few things I dont understand and need to be clarified...
a) "rank"-whats that?
b) and till 14 december I have to play 1 game?? or all games??
c) also, I have to play no matter who as I see (meaning first games, but clearing all finally), right?
d) do we report these games in toh? it matters somehow for Toh?

No you CANNOT report these games for TOH. Mega NO-NO! Only real games can be reported for TOH.

a) Depending on score, we will have a top ... the rank is the place you occupy in that top
b) Till 14 December you have to play all the games ( 14 Arena Games @ 1 - 1:30 hour / arena game, can be done in a weekend actually  )
c) exactly
d) no/no , read the Reports part in my first post...
it was supposed to be a sub-tournament for ToH, Vesuvius said he would make some prizes in points and medals for the winners, but I guess he forgot , so the only connection is the fact that we are using the toh message board

Destro23 vs Tintagel Result 1-1
Match 1 -- Maeve (Tintagel) Annihilates Faiz (destro23)
This match was a no contest, where the massive Haven force under Maeve walked across the battlefield and proceeded to swiftly and effortlessly also walk over my forces.
Match 2 -- Gorshak (Destro23) spanks Yrebeth (Tintagel)
This match looked very bad for me at first, first action blood furies flew over and killed all of my shamans, dragons where able to block centaurs.. Lucky strike from Grim Raiders killed 4 clops.. Oddly enough the battle turned around as shatter dark came into play, and hordes anger + Gorshaks beastly Cheiftains began to reign terror on the dungeon forces. Near the end Fear my roar and a fully functional group of centaurs where able to clean up the left overs.

Great to see some action around ... was a little pissed after games with Sq, but I guess i should've played better in order to defeat him and his special skill : Sq's luck  . Both games were very close, really enjoyed them, every lucky shot, morale, bash or blind, made the battle look different , so I guess they were really something.
I am hoping Diegis, Koar,Typhys and Sinchduck will start the rumble soon also

SQ has ALWAYS had that Unique " Lucky" streak... I often wondered if he actually had any skill... When you never have to use it... does one lose it? Or since they are so lucky.. did they ever have it to begin with? Something to ponder there

0-2 koar - TowerLord
1st game gg for TowerLord, many mistakes for me.
2nd game TowerLord (+1luck for hero Yrbeth) every turn per creature melee atack is with luck. (most relevant example: 40 Riders hits 8 archangels with luck - all stack killed)
This gives me a bad taste in my mouth. snow :|
