What if there's no wind?

Oh and imagine cars and such with that new 'wheel', they won't get stuck in badlands anymore.

If I understood right, the guy mentioned a "species" that stored wind energy so that it could move in quiet times.

Eh, I dunno. I like the analog AI bit though. Also, they look like they're just about to fall apart, but don't and instead walk around. Therefore, I like

Launch a nuclear bomb really far apart and see your electronic equipment getting messed up because of the huge electromagnetic shockwave. Doesn't mess up mechanical things, like guns, for example.

And yeah the analog 'bits' were awesome I still can't understand how they work

Makes me either very proud or very embarrassed to be Dutch. Living how exactly? From what I can tell by watching this clip it's a self-sustainable device, not a living thing. If all it can do is walk, that is very easily worked into its design. Also, sensors for draught or moisture are easily attached to some sort of switch that would trigger a different direction.

Granted, I couldn't make one, but I'm not impressed.

Well, it needs to be able to reproduce for a start.

He's not really implying that they are alive but they are an amazing creation. Hopefully it can be put to practical use, but until then it's still pretty cool.
