Fog of War - Is there any way to disable this? There are times I like it but I really love the graphics in this game but the fog of war really messes that up. I found a shroud reg file but that just gets rid of the entire covering for the map. I just want Fog of War gone or option. Has there been any thing made for this yet? or a registry command like shroud?
Computer AI bugs that need fixed.. (I'm downloading Equilibris addon now so don't know if any of these are fixed in that)
Creature Portal - Computer doesn't buy them... 10 weeks worth of creatures just waiting to be hired.. throws off entire balance of game when I capture them. There were 2 towns I captured and both had 10 praying mantis waiting to be hired. 1 growth a week. and I had given the computer players an extra 5000 gold and +2 resources each a day so they all have plenty of money and resources.
+6 Saphire Power Ups.. Computer doesn't pick them up.. even if there blocking a path of the only way to get thru on the road... he'll go around.. is there a way to up the AI importance on these? anyone know how.. map properties only has a way of upping AI importance of artifacts.. would have to be a mod I guess.
Castle - If i'm using order magics and creatures I can poison every group in the castle and they still won't come out and I can just illusion magic with genies and the hero spell till I have a huge army and just teleport them onto a platform without ever having to fight with my army even if they had a pretty nice size army and could of possibly won if they charged out first. (I realize this would be too hard to fix in any kind of mod.. but it's kind of cheap way to wipe out huge armies)
Is there a way to setup my own campaign editor map defaults so that it uses my own map properties for the heroes I want on map and artifact importance, etc.. Since there really is no difference in the new heroes as far as strength I wonder why they are not all selected as hirable.. I have to add them all in every time I do a new random map.
yeah I just installed it.. don't notice much change. It says that the computer shouldn't build the creature portal anymore which I like since they didn't buy the creatures anyway and I would be able to get them all any time I captured one of there towns.
One thing I noticed last game though is they changed the charm skill to where the creatures must get put into your own army instead of creating an army themselves if you don't take them they disperse now which sucks.. I don't like that.
