Ultimate Heroes Challenge
with all this tournaments and stuff i got an idea(inspired by Bruce Lee Game of Death ) to put some kind of ultimate challenge to heroes players
well here is the deal
i guess the activity sure is a problem in making this concept to really work but the idea is to make some kind of ladder climbing tournament
so what is needed is 4 stages (with 4 players ,even better 8 or more) that would like to put a challenge to others
challenges would be played in order from the easiest to the most difficult
example
1st beat vangelis on rr ,clayman on mm or attila on hg
2nd would be beating insa on mm or fiur on giants
3d would be infinitus on his infamous 2m, or jinx on dark realm
4th would be kispagat on hg or towerlord on twilight
so as a challenger you would have to beat the host on his favorite map
also it would be best to have alternates for all stages(the more the better) ,so than some of hosts could participate in this if they want
i guess the best would be to have at least 3 challengers at stage 1 since that would be the 1st to play,and the
well that would be it
if some of u would be interested in this we might get it to work
only thing that i'm affraid is that most people just play 1 or 2 maps so they would be affraid to play maps where they have little disadvantage 
first 1 who finish all 4 stages would be ULTIMATE HEROES CHALLENGER
so let me hear the challenges

well after thinking a bit the best thnig would be that everyone first says their challenge ,meaning what map u play the best or like best
after that i could sort all players in difficulty groups
and after that we could start with challengers

well the idea is to pass all 4 challenges
from the "easiest" to the "impossible' in that order
since none have unlimited time ,it would be best that many players give they challenges so i could make few alternates for each stage,to avoid bad blood ,time conflicts and what else not
after that anyone is free to put a challenge and try to climb on the ladder
once someone completes the task of beating all 4 challenges the tourney would be over
all games would be played on 1 win
also same person that put a challenge could participate ,but than i would need at least 2 challenges per difficulty lvl ,in face the more the better,since only that way would be possible for this to work
in fact i don't why anyone couldn't put a challenge ,just write what map u know best or like best
however finding worthy challengers will be little more difficult since most players play only few maps,but the more players put their challenges the easier is it for challenger to find a map that suits his style best
i hope now it's little clearer

I like the idea very much. So count me in. My choice of map: rat race. Preferably pure random, no strike out or banned races. Although, I would prefer to be challenger not a challenge

I like the concept.. still sounds like some of the basics need ironed out.. but count me in... 3 maps I prefer is MasterMind-Genesis- and DarkRealm.

Idea sound fresh, but in form proposed will not work.

All challenges must have equal difficulty level, challenge is to complete them all no matter the order. Difficulty level sound discriminatory to my. HG must be presented by Elit ...

No alternatives are better to me, alternatives will allow players to play only familiar maps
Also please remove epithet "infamous" from 2m or i not participate ... Actually 2m is famous - one of most played map on TOH this days, top players play on 2m, i glad random maps have success on TOH...

Also, i think, to have full cover of Heroes5 world need to add as challenge UBI map, Dragon Pass for example. This is native ground of Lixue or Willgefors (at least was for him, he even this days play a lot on UBI server)

Im in for TW, Genesis, and The Giants, if this tournament somehow will work.
A better one could be just a ladder for certain players and maps with certain prizes (not money)

well i guess perfect way would be to have 1 player for each stage
however since there are no 4 players that are available all the time
and there would probably be more than 1 contender at the time it's pretty much needed to have more players at every lvl
what i'm looking for now would be about
5 lvl1 challenges
3-4 lvl2 and 3
2-3 at lvl4
to remove the map abuse i guess it should be required to play 4 different maps (if possible)
by the way i don't mean to offend any of the players by putting them in some difficulty group
i just take in account experience ,last season and this season status and ranking in determining where to put someones challenge
ofc lvl1 can win vs lvl2 ,but right now it should be hard to for them to win vs lvl3 and very unlikely to win vs lvl4 player(if someone from any lvl gets few straight wins i can move him as the higher lvl challenge)
so far i have few palyers that are interested in this kind of tournament
Vangelis put his challenge on Dueblo
Pera on Rat Race
Jinxer on Dark Realm
Diegis on Genesis
and i'll put my challenge on Dragon's Hill
(jinx and diegis put on few more maps but 1 is enough,ofc if u want some other than i put u just say)
also
i see Infinitus is would like to put challenge with his world famous 2m random map
and cameos is interested in playing so if u could just say the map u like to play most
that's it for now
i really don't see any reason why most players wouldn't say what map they would like to play,simple as that

what i think is confusing people is that if someone put a challenge is it required from him to play
well the short answer is no
with multiple possibilities ,the person who whats to try to complete the quest has to play only 1 player per lvl meaning that he'll choose the player that is available at the moment(or wait for someone)
so if for example u elit put your challenge on hg
you'd be lvl 4 boss and if someone passes all 3 stages and gets to lvl4 he'd have few players to choose from which he wants to do battle
like
elit hg
kisp twilight
infinitus 2m
natalka abysmall
wilge on his favorite
if u do not have time none would force u to play ,but if someone reaches stage 4 and he finds you and you have time for that game ,i don't see any reason why u wouldn't play that game

sorry but i dont get why to have pre-chosen levels of players. imagine soccer like that. real madrid or manchester united directly to the final! what if Elit who of course is one of the best, has a suicide week 2 in the final game ? does that mean that i beat the lvl 4 player? no those things happen! but lvls could be decided with other ways!

well ofc it's possible that Elit suicide(but that would be pretty unlikely)
anyway to get to Elit u'd have to get 3 straight wins(vs lvl1 ,2 and 3 challenge)
so if u get lucky at final stage than u deserved it
about player lvl
i said for example u, clayman ,attila ... destro, and few other could be lvl 1 challenge ,while you all know heroes pretty good and can put a great fight even for the best,most of the games players like jinx, natalka,pera,elit ,kisp would win
however at that first step if u eliminate some favorite,
like u vangelis beat challenger elit i could move your challenge to lvl 2 and so on
lvl1 and lvl2 players are bout equal skill,with edge on lvl2 and so on ,but lvl1 player in current standings would have very slim chance for suprise vs lvl 3 or 4(ofc depending on luck and everything there is no sure winner in heroes)
the concept is in 4 bosses
and each harder (at least on paper) than the previous

interesting then. how about rules of the game? my opinion is that if the tourney has the same rules as any regular game then it is pretty the same
