maybe instead it should ne more like the peasant taxpayer except that you gain an extra zombie growth to a town per 100 zombies that you posses. Of course, that could also be unbalanced.
ya know what, why we just keep the zombies we have now and just beg Nival to give us more useful zombies than before.

A small boost in Init/speed and better looks would not be too unbalanced I think.  Zombies are supposed to be grey with peices hanging off of them but warriors would be cool also.  Now Death Knights..Death Knights are supposed to be in Black Full Plate with Fiery Eyes

The design possibilities of models are huge but i think they are even bigger for the undead. If only ubi had designed the models in a more darker way maybe HOMMV would be more of my liking. Is it so expensive to do one undead creature for each of the HOMM creatures?
Anyway...i also hate that hulk zombie they included in this version. Seems that they´re regressing with these aspects of the game.
Zombies should eat corpses. That concept isnt even in the game. Im telling you...the game is made by monkeys with cigars.

Well that would bascially double the effort to make a creature and raising enemies as the exact same creature would make Necromancy much weaker.

For Berny and to elaborate: "A monkey is any cercopithecoid (Old World monkey) or platyrrhine (New World monkey) primate. All primates that are not prosimians (lemurs and tarsiers) or apes are monkeys. The 264 known extant monkey species represent two of the three groupings of simian primates (the third group being the 21 species of apes).  
Zombies are by far more used than skeletons in movies,books,etc. Besides, it seems they are fashionable as today half of horror movies have zombies.
Perhaps necromancy should evolve to rising zombies whose corpses then decay into skeletons? Dont know. But ideas are more valuable than cigars.

I find the zombies we have now very usefull, sure they are slow or better yet, very slow.
But as one of you said! They are strong i numbers! 200 zombies is hard to get rid of for a tier 2 unit, and when the enemy is too close to the zombies, they just hit them hard! And by hard i mean really hard.

The only thing i dislikes with the zombies is theire slow movement animation and the rot zombies hook.,..

I modded the zombi and the 1st upgrade.

the zombi has 16 HP instead of 17
the upgrade has 16 HP instead of 17 but gains +1 initiative and brutality. I chose brutality, because it should normally work well with the high number of HP and the weakening strike.
