A question about the Grail (Heroes3)
Ok, I own heroes 3 complete for several years now, and started playing online few months back.
Now, in one of my games, I visited several obelisks, that lead me to the place of the grail. I didn't collect all the obelisks, but I was 100% sure in what square the grail was. I dug there, and found nothing.
Here is my question:
Do I have to reveal the whole puzzle to find the grail? Even if I know where it is? I don't think so, but it is still wierd.
For example, in the tutorial, if you dig between those two stumps you can find the grail easily without revealing that obelisk at the end of the map!

The Grail isn't always right in the middle of the puzzle map. Usually, it's off by a few squares to throw off people doing just that.

To find grail you should reveal a cross in the puzzle map but that is not necessary. If you see a cross you could try to dig there if possible(there is no hole already). You shouldn't visit all obelisks. Sometimes even one and some luck is enough.
In your situation maybe you found the wrong place.
