Yes, ERM scripts. I'm not good at scripting... Wait! {Saerching in ERM Help} Yes, there are two ways do it.

!!HE-1:C1/1/0/d; all halberdiers change to pikemen

!!MA:U1/0;  halderdiers can be "upgraded" to pikemen.

That comes with an interesting thought! When upgrading Pikemen to Halberdiers, you usually pay the difference, right? Would that mean you would receive money if you 'downgrade' them?

No. When we upgrade more expensive monster to cheaper monster we don't pay but we don't get money too (minimal upgrade cost is 0 and it cannot be less).
