Map Editor!
Hi! I'm new here! Sorry for my bad english! I'm Italian!
I've got some new maps! Where I've got to put the map for work?

I've had that problem too.
Yet again, I have trouble creating maps aswell.

Right click -> New (from the menu) -> Folder
That?
You can also try renaming the map format to ".h5u" and placing it in the UserMODs folder.

Hi I'n New here and I have a question, I just started to work on the tribes of the east map editor but I have a Serious problem when I want to make a map with two levels I can't do anything in the subterran level everíything is pitch black and I can Place objects on the map but nothing else so please help me how can I edit a subterran map part If someon know the awnser please send it to me to degu20@indamail.hu

Well Ive been working a "little" with the editor so this question I do know the answer for....
Select Tiles then lower tools and Draw Tool Size 3*3 then start to "paint"
pretty simple and good luck with your map making... !

Thank You really but still doesn't work how do you mean to lower the tools? I tried to paint but still I can't seee anything even if I run the random map generator I still can't find out how the machine does it or other map makers does it because I can't even change the subterra walls "road"

When I tried to edit the underground I had to zoom way in to get it to work, hope that helps.

ok for the map editor i am trying to make a map so my husband and two brothers can play can there only be 2 players and the rest computers? if not how do i change it?

i an new and i have posted a quote on others but i dot know how it works but how do i know if above or below ground is connected? and how do i actually make my map playable? PLZ i really need help

thanks but none of them works i nkow that i can place object's or paint tiles but I can't See anything only the object forexample towns or creatures plz tell me what do you mean by lower the tools ore change the ID

The raise and lower tools are in the tile tab on the right. They are what you use to move the terrain up and down a level. Use the lower tool to create space for the hero to walk. (The button says 'lower' in english).
When you place a subterrain gate you go to the properties on the left of the screen you will see 'GroupID' that defaults at 0. Edit that to connect gates together. All of the gates with the same number are connected. (Change the first pair of gates to 1, the next pair of gates to 2, the third pair of gates to 3, etc).
