Ehm... ok maybe it's so simple that I don't see the flaw in my logic but ok I'll give it a chance:
Where is the damage of the flying unit being reduced?

It seems that Shield Wall reduction cap is somehow bugged. Small distance reduces the damage as good as long one.

Unfortunatelly, reduction vs. flying units is bugged, and the damage shown, isn't the real damage you will deal in the end with the flying stack.

Not quite. If you try duel mode Sinitar's reds after 8 tiles show 20-26 shieldguards but the actual kill is 6.

I regret to inform you that Arcax won't be able to participate any longer due to some rl issues. Thank you mate but it really sucks to leave like that  Anyway good luck and hope you won't disappear for too long!
Meanwhile since I've heard the occasional complain and the next phase is coming soon I could work on a map update. I'm looking forward to suggestions but don't expect anything drastic. Some I have in mind are:
A little more gold for factions, say 5-10k extra.
Dungeon gets arena for +2 defense or I may edit starting heroes instead.
Dwarves get a tiny bit more crystal/mercury, cases where you get rune of incorporeality and battlerage or immunity and thunderclap you are rather limited.
Also is there any chance that the ones who fail to enter the play offs would care to play a friendly chaos cup? Everything enabled, more arties. But unlike other times winning won't get you in play offs

Well I still have 15 days for playing but I guess it wont change a thing, sorry for participating in the 1st place since I knew that Ill be out at 22 of April
