You are a God
Using advanced human technology (sometime in the future), you are able to go to a planet that has a fairly primitive humanoid population and BE A GOD.
Using your technology to perform miracles and influence the people...
What do you do?
in other words, you become a god on another planet with kickart human technology
what do you do on the planet?

When people die, the go to a planet identical to the one on which they were on, except the population is that of people who died. Neither of the planets (the life and the afterlife) can make contact, and "planet life" doesn't know about "planet afterlife".
Then the two make contact. And I provoke a war.

Well I wouldn't do that, but if I did ... 
I'd teach pretty much the 'do onto others as you would have them do unto you' philosophy..Most of the rules we have here now (but actually enforce them and get rid of corruption). Of course now there are some 'evil' things I would do..like try to manipulate the population to where there were like 10 born for every male that was born or something like that .

I would make it so that it feels really really good to stick certain body parts together and jiggle them around and hardwire your brain to want to do it pretty much 24/7 between the ages of 13 and 70, but if you actually do it without a special permission slip from the church then I am going to light you on fire and that's just in purgatory. If you also didn't spend every sunday reminding me what level-headed and, if I may say so, strikingly handsome fellow I am, then I am also going to staple your every orifice shut and feed you to a wolf.
Seriously, Dante's God is the BEST God. All I can hope for is the be almost as good.

What are the limits of this technology and how rich on ressources are the planet in the first place? If there aren't much ressources, I suppose it'd be hard to use any technology, without getting ressources from outside the planet.

But I would much more like to play god on this pplanet than some else.
