Copy Area?
i was wondering if there is some sort of function in H3 that allows me to copy an area from one map to the other... u know, starting ALL OVER is a major pain in creation...
i didnt keep the wog 3,5, coz some objects that i liked were totally changed... like a leprechaun garden became some Santa Gremlin stuff...

WoG does not replace objects in the game or in the editor; it only happens when you wogify a map. In addition, you can disable that option in the WoG Menu.

thx - i will try later... i read that SoD has some mass cut/ copy /paste, but i never found out how...

didnt work, coz there is some dll stuff i never heard of missing...
what i find odd is that SoD announces that u can mass copy/paste, which would solve my problems. holding Ctrl / Shft etc... gives nothig.

Map Editor Patch v3.3 by GrayFace
Map Editor Patch makes new features (new monsters, artifacts etc.) fully-functional in Map Editor and adds new functionality like editing objects appearance, copying a part of map from one place to another, events binding etc.
English version
New in version 3.3:
[+] Copy Map Area and Paste Map Area buttons added in Obstacle Tool page.
[+] Missing def files don't cause Map Editor to crash and don't display endless error dialogs.
[+] You can choose between WOG and SOD formats when saving a map.
[+] Now Map Validation reports overlapping objects.
[-] A critical bug of Advanced Properties fixed. This bug sometimes caused maps corruption.
[-] Before this version you could press Redo after painting ground with Allow Single Squares option on.

Actually, after habing read so much about the WOG, I decided to give it another try (i know i dont need to wogify everything...).
So, the amazing mass copy/paste is there, which will help me a lot!
