EDIT: I've encountered several problems after installing (I also got a report on broken WOG files while installing but the installshield didn't specify it):
this is when I click on Load Game
Autumn Rampart (wtf)
New lay-out only works for 30%
Same problem here, I have to use another skin because of the LOAD GAME problem

HOW EXACTLY do you manually insert defs into that thing? Is there a tutorial somewhere?

Open the lod you are playing with MM archive (usually H3sprite.lod), then drag inside the new defs, they will replace old ones, having same name. Backup it first, better.

How do I put in the new files? Don't I have to extract the WOG files first somewhere?

Quote: I reinstalled everything (Heroes Complete now) and it seems to be working fine. My Autumn Rampart still looks horrible though
And the new lay-out only shows 70% of it. Some text boxes aren't done and the castle borders and tavern lay-out etc.
You have a different background in that pictures. There is a mountain behind the castle ,and it should be only a foggy sky there.

If you're referring to wdn files ,this is how i do .
Double click on the file.
Choose "select the program from a list"
Select WinRar.
And from there select the files needed and use " Extract to" option.

This is what my Autumn Rampart looks like after extracting the files respectively to bitmap and sprite.lod:

Quote: The MM Interface .wog file might be conflicting with another program you have in. That's why I put each interface .wog file separate. I know for a fact they all work the way they should.

I know that I've had the same problems trying to download these WOG files. For me, I tried finding the 'cleanest' wog file to download, and from there add on specific items to my liking. In so doing, the system would crash for example when I'd click the tavern Icon. Most of my mods that I'm interested in I found on the celestial heavens website. Namely the Map Objects and the New Interface. I assumed that the site would display decent and safe mods, but I'm having trouble combining my files together so that they'd work well together without crashing. My problem sounds similar to yours ChaosHydra that I get the response of wog files being 'broken' or ERM errors.
Any ideas?
