Might and magic 6 help
So when i get here i need to press the lever and i go down and then im overwhelmed with enemies and even as i go down i get damage and this is the only dungeon i managed to advance in the others are way to hard for now

Again, another old thread with the last response almost a year ago, but again I'm going to reply basically for my own enjoyment.
I know this exact spot this guy was talking about. This is in the dragoons caverns. First off, you don't have to go here at this point, there are plenty of places to go. I usually wander from town to town as soon as I am done with New Scorpigal, picking up horseshoes and other things laying around and doing any free things available.
On my last play of this game, I didn't even go to this area until later because I find the soldiers and brigands kind a pain to deal with at a low level. I did the temple of baa and shadow guild hideout well before this. If you do insist on going in here early, there must be ways to get through this point if you keep trying. The first time I played this game I remember this being a tough spot too but I got through it. An idea is to maybe hit the switch but stay up and throw sparks down, but I'm not sure if it will hit them. I think there are 2 lifts like this in this dungeon, and there is also another hard part at the end when a veteran comes out and he is very tough at this point, you have to run all the way back and shooting arrows at him the whole time before he finally dies. Or you can just not open the door at all and hit him through the small gap of the door.
