A History of Antagarich

Once upon a time, long long ago, I decided I didn't like what 3DO did with the storyline between Heroes III and Heroes IV. While I liked Heroes IV, I didn't like the change to the new world and missed Antagarich. So, when Heroes V came along, I thought I'd like to try my hand at creating a history that would fit in with all the different HoMM incarnations.

Using information from previous Heroes games as well as from Might & Magic, I concocted a history that (in my mind) linked them all together. I wanted to use it eventually in map making and mods, but since I'm horrible at the latter and even worse at the former (and don't have nearly enough time for either), I decided to just give it up.

But, I thought I would like to share with you the history that I created. It is an account of what could have happened had Antagarich not been destroyed. Of course, it's only my interpretation and I'm sure many of you have different ideas of where it could have gone.

So if you are interested, please find it here: A History of Antagarich

It's a PDF file, approximately 2mb in size, containing a story outline and images. The images are taken from different locations around the web; no copyright infringement was intended in using them.

Please let me know if you enjoyed it and thank you to all of you for the mods and the maps and crazy ideas over the years.
