Didn't they just put it on there because it looked like a straight ripoff of the Warhammer Warrior Priest otherwise? 
I actually really like the direction they're taking Haven/Castle, it's much more interesting than the typical "generic fantasy and griffons" approach. If the jungle town doesn't turn out interesting, or materialize at all, I may play them this time. There's something I never thought I'd be doing.

The only concern I have with H6 haven line-up is that in the end, the creature less fitting the castle is the griffin.
If debs were to push their ideas to an end, they should have removed them too.
However that would have caused numerous fans suicides I guess...

Sorry, but what do you mean by less fitting the castle?
I got the impression they were trying to steer away from the "all male human soldiers" vibe a bit more with the new female Seraphs, the female Glories, and the female priests.

This is the 1st thing that came to my mind when i saw Breeder...
It IS the Venom Spawn just RED and infected by ZERG !!!
The only thing is that it gives birth to imps during the battle..
Poor little Imps, they have to be born through a "hole" with teeth..!

Hey, what do you think of the following fantasy Dungeon line-up:
1. Kobold
2. Black gargoyle (with the White one going to Academy)
3. Evil eye
4. Basilisk
5. Minotaur
6. Medusa (Transformed from a 4th level crap into a poweful 6th level caster-shooter)
7. Black dragon
I've posted it earlier in this topic, but I'd like to remind of it. I think it's sums up the Dungeons throughout the series pretty well, without adding random new stuff. It also returns the Gargoyle to the Dungeon, where it belonged in H1 and H2.

Radox, I like it but I'd advocate few small changes:
Core: Kobold, Black gargoyle, basilisk
Elite: Evil eye, Minotaur, Medusa
Champ: Black drake (let's leave true dragons for bosses)

Well, I mean: in the end, Haven army is composed of (male) human soldiers along with priestress and Elrath's incarnations (glories and "angelitos"), plus... griffins.
Why Griffins?
(this is a pure rhetorical question, I know the answer is: fan service)
Indeed, there is no connection between Elrath and griffins!
Moreover, the Griffin Holy empire does not even exist at the time of H6, and will only 400 years later.
So yes, we are following the Griffin duchy's story, but then what? Wolf duchy's army contains wolf? Stag Duchy's raises Stag for battling?
To be honest, I would not have cry if Griffins had been put in another faction in favor of a new unit.

Griffins are haven's emblem. They symbolize both a lion's strength and being able to ascend to the heavens. Heaven and earth, might and spirituality.

This is a good idea and I especially like the Medusa being Elite. The only thing is that with this lineup the Hydra is missing, which is a shame (unless it will come back in a H3 like Fortress in an expansion that would be GREAT ) What do you think about replacing the Gargoyle with the Harpy and giving the Gargoyle (with a cool look like in H2&3&4) to Academy? Also, what is a Kobold?

Kobolds are small dwarf-like beasts that like to mine for gold and live underground. That's why I placed them here.
I have pointed out that here it is the Black gargoyle for Dungeon, with Academy getting its opposite - the White gargoyle.
I haven't included Harpy here, because for me it simply doesn't fit with the whole Dungeon thing. The Harpy must be in the Stronghold lineup.
The Hydra is not here, because a Hydra on any level other that 7th is a shame and obviously it cannot replace the Black dragon here. I prefer the Hydra as a BOSS UNIT!

Nope, I never liked the H3 Fortress town. For me, it has always been the most bland and unispiring town in the entire series The Serpent flies and the Lizard men are some of the least interesting creatures like ... ever.

That's a shame, I loved that town, along with Conflux that also had many haters And when you say that about the Lizardmen and Serpent Flies do you mean stat-wise or design-wise? because I agree on the stats but the main design and idea was great IMO...Imagine a Fortress with H6 grahic power (as we have seen, all factions in H6 look superior with their design to H5)

I recently posted this on the Creature's Names forum, but since it disapeared quickly afterwards, I'll put it on here.
Radiant Glory and Blazing Glory are horrible names. Thay are shallow and uninspired, contrived and boring.
Here are my suggestions for better names for the Glories:
