Which is rather weird in some situations, as not being able to fast travel because there is a fish in nearby lake.

Whoohoo! Finally done with those blasted deaddrops!

Fun note: shortly after my first Black Hand kill, Shadowmere got glitched and vanished. A sign from Sithis!

Edit:
Aaaand the Cowl of Nocturnal is also mine! Shivering Isles here I come!

Selected minutes of the first ecumagickal council

I'm with the college of whispers representative, life detection in Alteration is bull****! And RESTORATION IS A PERFECTLY VALID SCHOOL

"Witless Spectators: 36" XD

I concur, and I must support the Eighth Seatman in that it makes no sense to have reflection and absorption under Alteration when wards and similar spells are under Restoration. The First Seatman's argument is poorly-thought-out on that point. He may as well argue that Destruction spells should fall under Alteration—after all the body changes when you hit it with a Fireball spell.

I miss my Mysticism, the sphere of "we don't really know what this is so we'll just put it here".

Destruction really is pretty much Alteration... though I guess it makes sense to have one school dedicated to destroying **** when you need to educate battlemages for instance.

On Wards. I guess maybe... you could argue that Wards alter the properties of spells that hit them, turning a fireball harmless for instance... in that case it's Alteration.

If instead it fortifies your body's natural magic resistance and focuses it into a shield, then it's probably Restoration.

I had my first encounter with the Knights of Order, I got a uskfang" target=_blank>new toy, and I discovered I've been pronouncing Tsaesci wrong this whole time.

God I LOVE Duskfang/Dawnfang.

Such brilliant mechanics on it. So damn heavy though!

Mhm... I find an equipment scaling mod to be pretty essential for both Oblivion and Skyrim.

Much more interesting to have your equipment level with you rather than be locked to the level that you got it on.

Yes, my biggest complaints with it so far are:

1.) It's heavy.
2.) This is Oblivion not Skyrim, so I can't duel wield this AND Goldbrand at the same time.

But the coolness factor of having a Tsaesci vampire sword is sufficient I plan to get some use out of it in spite of these terrible flaws.

Edit:
I'm level 30 right now so the level scaling wasn't an issue for this one.

As one of my characters I got it at level 2 serves me right for trying to do the Shivering Isles first I guess.

@Gryphs: Get Francesco's Oblivion overhaul + Oblivion XP and you're set to go

Fixes 95% of the game, imo.

After a longest time I decided to play Morrowind

Got a bunch of improvement mods for it, started up, played for about 30 minutes or so, sighed, and decided I'd rather wait for skywind instead

Looking at Dragonbone arrow.

Thinking that point makes very little sense, wouldn't penetrate far and probably flies really badly.

Google a bit, apparently pronged arrows are real: they're used to shoot fish just below the water surface.

The dragonborn respects dragons so little that he uses arrows against them that are designed to murder fish.

I can accept that.

I think(?) I've seen a mod somewhere that let you make bone weapons

Not too sure those would be any good but
