huhu My npc is still so happy about the claw i returned to him and took again 5 seconds later. its been atleast an ingame month and he still thinks im his best pal

I made myself an outfit for my assassin.
I mean it's a cold country, I can't run around in tight leather here... need fur!
Dunno how to make mods though, just photoshop work. Might make a request for it on the Nexus.

I got bored of my ranger character because there are no high-level bows that look foresty enough.
I'm fickle like that. Wonder if I'll ever explore this world fully... haven't really explored any areas besides the one surrounding Whiterun so far.
Yeah, for real. Creating new characters and trying out playing styles have been too much fun.

I've been obsessing way too much about side-quests. I spent half a day trying to kill a mammoth when I was low level because some random girl asked me to, I can spend hours reading different books. The possibilities in this game is simply endless.

I read too many disconcerting comments on the nexus related to the balance and the three alchemy/enchantment/smithing skills...
That said, the three latter have inproved mostly during standard play for me (no power-levelling), so I find no worry in that. Plus I potentially got myself a build which will prove interesting to work on as I go. Being level 24 and having a duel vs a necromancer boss or a vampire boss just owns, it is like a 1on1 battle of wits. Though I do tend to hide beneath trees, rocks and walls, I still lose if I try an open battle so I spice things up a little (I have relatively little armor). It is always fun to dual cast fireballs (which look awesome!), shout to stagger, take out an enchanted mace with a decent lightning bonus and power pound my opponent. That is, until he puts up a ward and pwns me with frost lance at close proximity.
Balance and stuff could do some reworking, but I cannot say I dislike anything how it is right now (save for the bug in the selection menu that disallows me from clicking on the option I want so I need to use keyboard aaaaand the fact that my nvidia gtx can only run the game without 3d performance maximization (which saddens me really, could run the game high/ultra-high)). With my build, I deal hefty damage and receive plenty on my own which is fun (and you can't say I suck at building a character, it is just that I level it on the go; though I have a webcomic idea in mind related to over-encumbrance and horses  ). I shall hope that Bethesda finds a way to integrate the changes on the go, without having to restart the game to take effect, if these seem critical. People really need to learn how to enjoy themselves in such a game, rather than exploit it at every single opportunity.
P.S. Do not leave dragons so retarded. Once they appear and for example you shout, they should attack you on sight rather than roam around the whole hold, attacking giants (which in the end can kill the dragons in 10-12 hits 1on1). That said, either up the dragon firepower or nerf the giants, cause the latter seem more threatening than docile. Or at least let dragons land and dash towards you or whatnot.
ADDIT:
Aah! Had I known it is so useful to go to the Greybeards at once, would have saved a few hours of over encumbrance and slow movement.

I wonder how weak of a student I will be by the time I reach Winterhold. I mean, I cleared like 80% of Whiterun and Falkreath holds + some other locations on the go for some quests and what do you say? I am steadily becoming stronger in Destructive with cheapening spell costs.
On another note, ZOMG fail @ screenshot. I managed to use one shout at the time of a giant hitting me with his club. Guess what? I saw my corpse flying high above Whiterun only to hang in the air and start to fall down when I realised I should press PRNTSCRN and the darn loading screen started

Indeed, and they did it without the creation kit as well, and worked through Beth's hardcoded separate system. Impressive.
GOD release the damn creation kit already! We've got 1028 mods released on the Nexus so far WITHOUT the kit, imagine if we had it!
Last patch broke installed mods btw, so I'm taking it easy on the modding side until we've got a mod manager in the style of FOMM and OBMM.

There is now a mod that replaces FUS ROH DAH with...
THIS... IS... SPARTA!!
EDIT:
There's already a team working on a Skyrim Script Extender as well...
If you remember OBSE you'll know how much freedom a script extender gives the modders. Will be awesome.

It's not like there was anything else to do besides that.
There wasn't like a long list of options that opened up when breaking that system; that hardcoded system was placed by Bethesda for the sole purpose of hindering modders from simply unticking the immortal checkbox from child-NPCs. They just want to avoid Fox News really.
