Hey Berny, to make things less confusing, you may want to consider making a list of all the known crew on board.
I know it will be a pain, but seeing as we're introducing chars left and right it may get very confusing a few pages further down the line.
And if people other than you introduce chars, we should at least give you some info on them.

Ok, so, to get a head start on the people I introed...
Alaric Whitemoon: A young human sniper. Rail thin and easy to annoy. Has an almost father-son relationship with Simon.
Garth Whitemoon: Deceased (As far as anyone knows... He fell overboard in a brawl with one of the three Duroks attacking him and they were unable to recover either body.)
Mat: A cook. The original cook, who wasn't that good to be honest...
Jarod: A lookout man who gets weird dreams from the CORE Rp. Just threw him in there to be random and for those of us IN the CORE Rp.

Eva, Robert and Manuel De Graff; Eduardo's sister and her family. They own a plantation outside Port Auflin. Eduardo often stays with them between jobs/adventures. Eduardo is Manuel's godfather.

Kalthak: A large Durok berserker. He joined the Revenant so that he could raise money to pay for his impoverished family in the Nerbulian Empire. Every month or so, he sends the money to his family, yet he hasn't heard from them in years. He has great fears about what may happen to them, but the only thing keeping him from losing hope and his sanity is his faith in the Tuletan Gods. So he keeps sending money and letters to his family constantly. As it was Davaian who recruited him and always talked to him about his family and cheering him up, Kalthak is more friendly towards Davaian than Arturus.
Raid Chief Nurgunnen: A cruel and bloodthirsty man, Nurgunnen was born a scoundrel and pirate on the high seas. He killed his first man at 10 years old, and killed his father when he turned 16 and took his father's position on the ship as the first mate. However, he was mutinied before he had a chance to murder the Captain and take the ship for himself. Amazingly, he was able to survive on a very small jungle island that had a hostile Durok tribe on it for two years. When the Revenant arrived at the Island looking for the treasure that the Durok tribe kept, they found the entire village dead and Nurgunnen sitting on a stone throne eating a cooked Durok leg with a large treasure chest under his foot. In exchange for the majority of the treasure, Captain Arcturus let Nurgunnen take position as a berserker on the ship. In three days he became the Raid Chief. Ever since, Nurgunnen has been completely loyal to the man that saved him from the island, which is good news for the crew, otherwise Nurgunnen would kill almost everybody and take everything he could.
Navigator Bellerusse: Once the navigator aboard a Fortrind treasure ship, Bellerusse joined the Revenant when it was taken over. He has no allegiances to anyone on the ship per say, but he does prefer Captain Arcturus's structured military order over Davaian's philosophy of love and respect.
Quartermaster Hervin: He was the quartermaster of an old Nerbulian trading ship, but in a pirate attack, he was lost at sea clinging only to a piece of wood for dear life. Luckily for him, the Revenant found him and Captain Arcturus took him aboard. He has been the quartermaster and domestic keeper of the ship since then. Though he is appreciative of Arcturus taking him aboard, it was mostly Davaian's reasoning and arguing that allowed him to become the quartermaster on the ship, so therefore is friendly to Davaian.

Oh, forgot alliances:
Alaric: Though a strict believer in order and balance, he does not approve of the sometime chaotic and bloodthirsty acts that Arcturus sometimes commits. He agrees with Davian's policies more, as they shed less innocent blood.
Mat: Couldn't care one way or the other, just so long as he isn't thrown off of the ship because someone high-up finally realizes his ineptitude. He's a better shot than a cook, and he isn't that good of a shot. Davian would seem less likely to throw him into the sea.
Jarod: Hates the callous way that Arcturus treats people, but thinks that Davian is a little too soft... Whenever Simon is aboard to balance the two out, this man is happy.

BM, Something is bugging me, What is Lianna's role in all of this? Since there seems to be some sort of connection between her and Simon, it would be helpful for me to know. Also, who is she more loyal to, since this is going to probably affect Simon's loyalty one way or the other?

Lianna's role is that of a encourager and supporter of Simon who will support him in his decision no matter what. However, her devotion to him is also her main weakness. You'll see.

Ok, So since I have the option to make a back story for them, I shall 
The first time Simon met Lianna, Lianna was in her twenties, wandering the streets and looking for her family, who had abandoned her five years before that. Lianna was poor, and had only the clothes on her back to show for it. Simon took pity on the young elf woman, treating her to a good meal and a night on a good bed while he took to guarding the door against any of the pirates that might get some ideas. In the morning, when the Revenant was preparing to cast off, Lianna snuck aboard, hiding in the cargo bay.
Needless to say, she was discovered, but not by Simon. The first to discover her was Nurgunnen, who dragged her out of the hold by the hair, holding her out to the crew and asking them what he should do with her. The pirates, having been out at sea for a week, were now confronted with a semi-good looking and young girl. Simon prevented what was on most of their minds by literally yelling Nurgunnen down, with Davian and Kalthak's help of course. Furious, Simon took Lianna away from the raid chief and stormed to his quarters. He not only locked the door, but braced and bolted it as well, keeping the pirates out for a while.
When Arcturus found out about the activities of his crew, he personally went to have a private meeting with Simon. After a long and heated debate, Arcturus agreed to let Lianna stay under Simon's care, but at the cost of half of Simon's pay, and Simon had to feed her with his own rations. It was the best Simon knew he would get.
Simon trained Lianna in many things, swordsmanship, ship life, reading and writing, basic math and the art of performance (Singing, dancing, acrobatics and how to play the flute). During all of this, a romance started between the two, sickening Nurgunnen even more. He never supported it, and began to hate the two. The feeling was mutual. Eventually, Lianna became friends with Alaric, Davian, Jarod, Mat and Kalthak, giving her a strong support group for when she went out to join the rest of the crew.
Her initiation went surprisingly well, as almost all pirates, even the most desperate ones, will not approach a woman armed to the teeth. Since they finally had enough space to do it, Simon began teaching Lianna how to unlock her hidden magical potential. (Since she was created by BM, I'll let him decide what her magic is.)
Until the day he left for reasons that he hasn't given out as of yet, Simon acted as her protector, friend, confidant and lover. His leaving without an explanation after seven years of their life together crushed Lianna. She was only coming out of the worst of her depression when Simon came back.

Her magical talent would include mostly influential abilities like Simon's I was thinking. You can change around it if you want though.

Simon is not only influential to people, but also to events (You'll see soon enough). It's why he doesn't get shot and why he can cheat without being caught .
