What counters Dungeon ?
Hey there, iam about to play against my friend and well he is playing dungeon and hes going for ultra strong spells of course... And so i have no idea how to deal with it, whats the best fraction to choose against him ? We will be playing hot seat so ill see what is he doing and he will see what am I doing... Map will be Warlords probably, but if there is some map that only helps me, it could be changed

Best choices IMO would be Fortress (Elemental Immunity rune, fire-immune troops) or Academy (magic-proof units and most of all, if you play ToE, Magnetics)

thx for reply, iam afraid he will go frost spells probably, ive been thinking about academy a little ( btw yea we are playing ToE ) but ive played for them like 2 times in my life  i dont know much about them... Should i go for some high magic spells aswell ? And what units do they have good ? Also maybe i should go for fortress, i like them more but i played for them aswell 2 times in my life so :/

Barbarians or sylvan with aura of swiftness can do the trick too. Or haven if you can train enough champions. Vs dungeon it's all fair game, only necropolis has trouble against it.

yea well, i was just learning and practicing as academy, ive read some strategy guides and heroes 5 community manual aswell, i dont have time for something else cuz now iam going to go play with that friend so, ill hope ill manage to get him down somehow.. when ill be back ill post how it ended

Okay, its done ! Game took almost whole day, but finally i won ! probably first game against him that ive ever won in homam5 thx for academy suggestion Now ill have to find something against humans !

Counterspell may be nice too if you have good sorcery skill (so you always come before the opponent hero).

It's not, it doesn't work with sorcery. Even so it can be disrupted by casters in the hero's army so at worst you wait. Or you use a mass spell and still play before the counterspell hero.

On small map - dungeon, on large map - sylvan + wyngaal ( make sure to pick expert defence, expert luck, storm wind, and aura of swiftness +
retribution ). Get the alternate unicorns, dragons, archers and druids, but not the alternate treants. It should be a FIRST-TURN-PURE-OWNAGE 
P.S
About avenger list - angels, pallys and x-bows/griffins.If u have divine vengeance use it with "imbue arrow" and "rain of arrows" after u cast your mass buffs.

Tsk tsk, one of the basic rules in multiplayer is no Wyngaal allowed
