WoG Maped options

Hello,
I'm working on some maps and I would like to know if it can be copied map from overground into the underground or copy it from another map. I would also like to know if it is possible to increase the limits of objects on the map because I do 252x252x2 map where we do not have underground and I'm already exhausted dwellings and objects such as star axis and learning stones. Thanks.

If you have ERA, grayface patch should allow to copy/paste maps.

I am afraid that without scripting, such map size will be useless, for the reasons you specified. You can't increase the limit of objects, so you will have to think differently, compensate by the design, new objects and scripting obviously, like bring the defeated AI heros back and place them in another locations.  The hardest thing is to create an unique design for each area and replace distances by various tasks and quests.

Maped problem

I finished my map but I have a problem. Problem is with some artefacts and tresures not dissapeard after I took them and can be again taken (e.g. Warlord's banner and some gold but not all). Consequently, the AI is unable to continue to play because they get stuck on one treasure.I am using wog 3.58f and latest ERA 1.8.

Sometime the editor get me an error :
Exception EAccesViolation in module H3WMAPED at 000E68D0. Acces violation at address 004E68D0 in module H3MAPED.EXE. Read of address 00000000 whej I click at an object or during save.

Can somebody help with that problem? Here is the map:

I posted in XXL thread the cause of error. For artefacts or other bugs, my guess is that universal ERM scripts have a few checks for 144x144 at max and fail on higher coordinates. On the custom map I am working, AI picks properly the artefacts, no bug so far.

Strange is that started after I finished underground map. Overground was generated by random editor in game and it works without errors and artefact bugs.

There is nothing strange at all. Warlord banners script use !!PO command, which was fixed by plugin a few days ago. 252x252 maps WILL NOT work without that plugin. Check wog-archives for it.

One more thing. I downloaded the XXL_PO_Fix.zip from wogarchive and it contains po.era file and if I understood well it needs to be copied in to EraPlugins folder but there is no others .era files only some .dll's so my question is that it just need to be copied or I need to do something else. Thanks.

Unpack it in plugins folder. Please report if still any errors.

EDIT: the plugin is for ERA 1.91 only, I believe.

It won't work for me. I still have problem with warlord's banner some resources and creatures that after taking are still in place. I have no problem with that (is good to take infinity gold ) but AI can't play the map also if I defeat some creatures they are still remaining on the map and if I attack them one more time fight starts but there is nobody on their side and few seconds later the dialog appear that says that I won the match. As far as I can tell this problem is only with 252x252x2 (full underground) map.

And yes patch for random 252 maps won't work for me too with Era 1.9.1.

Hi I am sorry that I was a little off lately but I worked to solve the problem with my map. I worked out the problem to set the game wogifiing map. Whether the map will run without problems or hangs is random but can be verified at the very beginning the game by holding up worlord's banner. When the banner disappears, the game will continue to run smoothly. I assume that this problem is caused by the wogification of the map so that add too many new objects on the map and the the game engine can't handle it. Sometimes the map must be rerun few times until is possible to pick up the banner.

To Salamandre: Yes I am using new_object_pat.wog, ZEObjts18.wog and new_objects_patch_ver_1_8f.wog
