MvM Tournement
I agree with those who state that there is a problem with this "addict " style tourney. It definitely can favor players like myself who have been on daily since the tourney started. However I have posted more losses than wins by far.LOL I think it must be difficult to have a tourney that provides evrything for everybody. I think any elimination tourney needs to double elimination or best 2of 3 elimination. Also maps can make such a difference. Just like the game, so much depends on luck. this MM tourney is not for the 2-3 games / week player - unless they never lose.

grumble, u dont deserve your wins in that tourney 
hehe nah i dunno who or how much youve played. But u seem like a nice guy and i dont think you should care much about what other ppl say. They are problably just jealous anyway 
Personally i wanna have some more MvsM games, but that computer class is killing me. Well, i hope i can get a few games this week tho  Isra is looking for some dead dudes to animate

Well Iguess you have a point I made a mistake on not naming my opponents name on the message but I dont think it's that hard to figure it out since you took all the time to copy it on this thread but cant take half the time to record I understand yes.

Jinxer, right as usual!
Jinxer's point about addicts style tournies is dead on.
Man it sucks to be rewarded for beating newbies.
That sure is no show of skill.
Granted I have played everyone I can but playing Lord of Kaos or Hidden Dragon is hard ass money to make.
Where as I can play and win 3 games in that amount of time vs lesser players.
I feel guilty and let them pick map but still it's rewarding me for being a cheesey player.
I should make the finals and get 2 cherries next to my name if I keep up at this rate.

Addict styles have been far more popular than not... it shows by the activity. Also, if you guys havent noticed.... with the dreary delays in homm4, i wanted something more addict style to keep players busy through this month.
There will be tons of subtourneys though, that will be non-addict style, in homm4 toh. The ones that will remain addict style will be speedeamon and another 'the hero' (if we have such a tourney in homm4). So there will be more non-addict type than addict type.
You could also say that clans is somewhat addict type, and on the opposite end, divisions is not.
Awww man... you should see what the homm4 clans is looking like... cant give you the link yet, but its lookin great
- had to mention the above, since I finished the framework for it yesterday.
Ill post the template for homm classic though, where players can still play homm3 and homm2 while main toh is running homm4..... its pretty nostalgic for some

wow this is nostalgy
Once i looked at the background screen i came to remember how Heroes1&2 looked like, and i remember the heroes on that site too. Well i must say that this is a excellent choice for background to Heroes classics, but still i hope id be playing more of heroes4 than the others

the most important improvement would have been to outbalance the prices, i think many good players love heroes still enough and would have worked out a great price schedule...as it is now its worthless for me, sorry
just 1 example: the reg. drags cost 350, a behemot 400, what is that?
just my suggestion for future tourneys in that style, some veterans should volunteer to work something out, doesnt need to be done by ves or jinxer always

all u do is complain andiangelslayer, that is everything ive seen in ur post. when i saw ur post before i read it i said to myself 'its going to be another dissing & complaining post' i was right.
if u want to do something about it then help out! I dont think u could do the job jinxer is doing now for this tournament without quitting in a few days.

I appreciate the tourney but Andi is right.
The main problem is the experience.
Why should a necro get expereince for $70 when others pay more?
It makes zero sense and you know what? It's OK.
You guys do a great job and I know this is the first time you did this particular tourney and you are learning as you go.

Necros are 'evil',so,they cant sacrifice artifs in maps...that leads to less exp in game than a 'good' type hero

There is no altar on the MvM finals map so that shoots that theory to hell.
And warlocks are also evil and they pay $100 gold per 1000 so again that argument is bogus.

U see... Castle for example... what advantage the knights have? pendant of courage against titan gladius? or against dragon shield? or champs against red drags?
