Random Map Generator
HELP!.... I have version 3.2 and accidentally deleted the .txt files that enabled me to create random maps with my version.
The steps were posted during Season 3, for the King of Random tourney...
Does anyone out there still have that link or knows how and what files to create to enable randoms to be created with version 3.2
If i recall it was really simple.. but...like i said.. i deleted the files..
Any help is appreciated......

in DATA directory
h3ab_bmp.lod
h3ab_spr.lod
h3ab_ahd.snd

if i only have sod 3.2 should i not have a generator?or is there somewhere i can download the program?

Tewilligar.....
follow FCs directions above...
simply create dummy empty files in your DATA directory.. and name them exactly as FC specifies
and
then you will have the generator....

Sadim...look above...just make those files using notepad....and voila' randoms await.

i never done this since i got armablade disc but to create a dummy ablade.exe all u do is type:
yada yada in notepad save file as ablade.exe
i guess if loading up the game with sod it never verifies if the file works just thats its there is enough maybe

hi, is there anyway to adapt this for us RoE 1.4 players ?
i posted a thread awhile ago asking same sort of question, but had no replies.
if not, why does it work with SoD and what bits are missing from RoE? Can these extra components be inserted if someone were 2 e-mail them ??

Hi there.
Can someone post where to get, or send me those files?
I can make only h3blade.exe with notepad, rest of them comes as .txt, even though I saved them as 'all files'. And sadly Odvin's little program is gone.
